Chapter 11:Realization

~Kayden's POV~

I lay on my bed breathless. I glanced at the babe beside me. She was breathless to. I smiled cockily,knowing I could do that to a woman. She actually was a pretty decent fuck,maybe I'll keep her around. I slowly got up,wanting to get dressed. The girl started to protest. She wanted to have another round. Her name was Cassidy. I remembered all the girl's names in the pack. I wouldn't want to ruin my game by calling another chicks name in the middle of sex.

" Even though I want to have another go,I had the alpha ceremony to go to. It starts in thirty minutes babe." I told her.

She pouted and started to get up. The blanket covering her fell down. I raked her naked body with my eyes. I growled lustfully. She smirked and got on the bed,beckoning me to come to her. I tugged the shirt I had put on. And then I pounced on her.

~one hour later~

After we finished I was finally getting dressed.Cassidy was trying to persuade me to stay. I was starting to get annoyed. Then she got on her hands and knees,desperately trying to make me stay. She started crying and begging. She was acting like a over dramatic desperate whore. But that's exactly what she was. I pulled on the clothes I was wearing before. They where very wrinkled and dirty. I shrugged and started to head for the door. I put my hand on the door but I couldn't move. Cassidy was on my leg,she wrapped her body around it. This time I was furious. What was she? A child!?!I pushed her off my leg and back-handed her. I kicked her in the stomach and glared at her. She was crying and begging me to forgive her. I rolled my eyes and left to go to the alpha ceremony.I wasn't worried about her,she'll be crawling back to me,they always do.

I arrived and looked at the packed place. I passed a glass door and looked at my appearance. My brown hair was disheveled and it stood up everywhere. My black eyes where shining and had a mischievous glint in them. I had tan skin and muscles. All the ladies loved that. I had on a wrinkled blue shirt which had lipstick stain on the collar. I had on some random jeans that I think were clean. Over all I looked messy but I was still sexy. I smirked and walked on the stage.

As I walked on the stage everyone started cheering. I didn't know if it was because I just got laid or I'm just that fucking great. Maybe it's a little bit of both. Then I looked at my dad. I wanted to hurry this shit up.

"Anyway we shall now begin the alpha ceremony." my father announced. We than faced eachother.

"Kayden kneel down." he said. Pfft like I would do that. If I'm going to rule this pack I'm not gonna kneel down to anybody. I replied with a simple "no". Series of laughter where then heard.

"Kayden kneel down!" he said in a more demanding tone. If he thinks he can order me around he's wrong. I then refused again. He finally gave up. Ha! I knew that was a important part of the ritual. But everyone else always does that. And if you didn't know I was more important than everyone else.

"Do you Kayden Green vow to lead and protect the green grove pack?" He asked. I replied with a "sure" and a shrug. The he cut our hands and put them together.

I could feel the power that comes with being a alpha. It was like energy and power was coursing through my veins. It felt soooo good. I smiled excitedly.

"Now I Alpha George Green pass down my Alpha position to you."he said. Everyone clapped and cheered. But I didn't care about that.I was more excited about the talent show. Ashley said she had something special for me.And i think i know what's going to happen by he end of the night.

"Now let's start the talent show!" I yelled excitedly.I know,that was so childish.But you know what? I don't care. I'm suppose to act more mature now or something like that. But being Alpha of a pack will get me more ladies than I could ever imagine. I don't about you,but I rather party then be buried in paperwork.

I was then escorted to a throne type chair, A bunch of ladies then surrounded me.I leaned back into the comfortable chair.I love being alpha. I grinned excitedly when the lights dimmed on the stage.Then music started to play and Ashley appeared on stage. To say I wasn't hard when I saw her in those clothes would be a lie. My erection was straining against my jeans. I didn't bother to hide it. I saw the girl nearest to me lick her lips. Gives me a idea for later...

After Ashley was done with her very sexy performance,Matt and Kimberly came on the stage. I nodded at Matt and winked at Kimberly.

Then they showed the most hilarious slide show of my life.It was a bunch of pictures of that pig of a sister they had.But they had words written on the photos,that really described her well.My sides were hurting after the slideshow,from laughing to much.

Then that disgrace went on stage.Ugh speak of the devil and it will appear.Then it started singing. I wasn't really paying attention but I heard bits of the song.I tried not to laugh.What is this?A stupid way to get revenge on us? By singing a stupid song! That's really pathetic.

But the most important part was when the song was done. She slowly walked towards me.I was surprised that she would approach me.Then she did something that shocked me to my core...Angel cupped my face and looked in my eyes.My wolf was howling for joy in my head so loud,that it was causing me a migraine. My eyes widened in surprise.Then she lowered her lips to my ear.I thought she would whisper how much she wanted me...But she said the words I never thought my mate would ever say.

"I Angel Heart Desire reject you Kayden John Green as my mate.I don't want you nor do I need you."Then she got up and left,leaving my heart in pieces.I was about to get up and chase after her but my father told me to sit down.I couldn't tell him about my mate.But he wouldn't believe me when I said I had something important to do.So I was forced to sit down and wait for the show to end. I could still feel her touch...and her words of rejection.I felt my eyes start to water.

Wait....No! I am Kayden John Green! I do not cry over useless bimbos like her. In fact I will punish her for thinking she could do that to me! I am her superior! I am her Alpha! And I'll be damned if I don't get the respect I deserve!

I grinned evilly as I thought of ways to hurt her...But there's a part if me that was saddened and angered at the thought of hurting Angel. I shook my head mentally and opened the pack link,telling Ashley and everyone else about my plan. Tonight will be a night to remember.
