"He said you almost killed your girlfriend!" Daisy yelled at him as the entrance to their Quinjet closed. "What the hell was he talking about? Who was she? Why haven't you said anything about this before!?" She questioned angrily. "Because I never wanted you to see that side of me." He said quietly as he plopped on a jet's seat.

"I don't really care what you want right now, Lincoln." She huffed as she sat on a seat across from his. "You can't..... You can't just show me Mr. Perfect all the time and keep all the ugly parts hidden away. That's not how this works. I need the truth, or whatever we are ends now." Daisy said as Lincoln sighed sadly, "Okay..." There was a slight pause as Lincoln got ready to tell her.

"You know how we've, um, talked about how most Inhumans have this feeling where nothing feels right, just empty?" She nodded and replied, "Yeah, like how I spent my entire life searching for my parents. It's a classic attempt to fill the void."

"Well, I tried to fill it with vodka, but I couldn't control it the drinking or my temper." Daisy then got confused, "You've told me this..." Lincoln shook his head and rested his elbows on his knees, "Not this..... My girlfriend thought she could help me to be a better person." He chuckled a bit at the memory. "We fought about that a lot.... I don't even remember what we were arguing about that night, but the more I drank, the angrier I got."

"Why can't you you try to change?!" Y/N yelled. "I have tried many, MANY times Y/N! I've had enough I'm a hopeless piece of shit!" He yelled back as he gulped down more vodka from the bottle in his hand. Y/N closed her eyes and slowed her breathing, she opened them again and walked over to Lincoln. She sat on the couch next to him and rubbed soothing circles on his back. "You're not a piece of shit...." She stated calmly before pausing, "Just calm down okay... I'm gonna help you." He huffed as he slammed the bottle on the coffee table. "You already tried! You've taken me to anger management, you've taken me to all alcoholic foundations in this town, hell you even sent me to yoga or whatever the fuck that was!" Lincoln then got up and took his jacket from the coat hangar, "Lincoln...." Y/N scolded as he took the keys from another hook, he opened the door and started heading out. "Lincoln don't you dare close that do-" But he didn't listen and slammed it shut.

"I just wanted to get away, so I got in the car... I don't know why the hell she got in with me, trying to talk me down..."

Lincoln got into his car and slammed the door shut, suddenly he heard the passenger door open. He looked over and saw Y/N in one of his leather jackets. "Your not in such a great position to drive, babe." He rolled his eyes and groaned as Y/N closed the door. "Where are you going? Let me take you." She said, "I'm going anywhere but here.... And no I don't nee-" He hiccuped and continued, "- your help..." He slurred, the alcohol getting to him. Y/N's eyes widened as he started the engine and started to drive. "Stop this car." She commanded but Lincoln ignored her speeding through the empty street. "Lincoln!" She said but again he ignored her. "Hell, Lincoln if you don't stop this car something might happen!!" He turned quickly, but they were still on the road. "Please stop this car Lincoln." She pleaded one last time.

"We ended up wrapped around a telephone pole..."

Little did Lincoln know that was one of the last sentences come out of her mouth before the crash happened. "NO! LEAVE ME ALONE!!!" He yelled and his grip slipped from the wheel, "Lincoln I love you and I don't want- LINCOLN THE POLE!!!" She shrieked but Lincoln took the warning too late and they crashed.
