I'm in the car thinking about my future and my past. Wondering if my life was to be here and truly last. I portray a young black female with an attitude of a lion. My heart beats fast, my feelings slowly brighten. Confused in a world that I thought was meant for me. Seeing that that's the only image you see on t.v. Star strucked in a daze, that pain slowly hides. Hopefully one day I can look at myself with pride. But I'm going to smile today for the hell of it. And be myself even if I'm desperate. Look fear up in the eyes. Watch it tell so many lies, just be prepared for what survives. I'm just a girl from Atlanta trying to make it day by day. Knowing I bet you I will find a way.
