Chapter 1- It wasn't a book!
I can never sleep the day before my birthday. Its not that im excited for my birthday it's something else I don't get wound up by the newest CD or a pair of roller blades! I don't care about a sleepover or ice-skating either. I'm just looking forward to sitting on that red, leather sofa eating our favourite food (Fish and chips by the way!) and gawping at our favourite program on our old/new television. I look foward to reading the new book that dad always puts under my pillow on the morning But there's one thing I just can't wait for... The post. Every year I sit in the porch waiting for the post to arrive, waiting for that one special envelope and that one special parcel I know will be from my mum!
I just can't wait, last year I got a pink ragdoll with a purple dress it looked like it had been handmade. The year before that I had recieved a Dream catcher with a Purple envelope saying~ Hang this above your bed it will catch the bad things and melt them away!
I just long to see her one more time, The last time I saw here was when I was Just able to talk. I can remember her long, golden hair and her beautiful, green eyes. She always wore bright cheerful clothes until one day she wore a grey top and cried and cried then when dad went to work she wrote a note and left me in my highchair. I watched her leave I wished I coloud have stoped her I Wish I had, I wish!
"Make a wish" Dad had came in holding my cake it was a messy homemade one and the icing as spilling down onto My tiger plate. I knew dad would never cook infact he can't so I made myself look as if it as my mum. He beamed at me and told me to look under my pillow......... It wasn't a book!
