I made my way down the porch steps and wrapped my jacket around me tighter.

The walk should have taken about 25 minutes but I kept turning around because I felt as if someone was watching me. I turned around once more and didn't see anyone so I kept walking. I told myself I was just being paranoid because after all, I was an 18 year old girl walking in the streets by myself at night.

Recipe for disaster.

I made my way down the street and turned at an intersection. This street was much darker than the one before and it felt as if the temperature had dropped about 10 degrees. A flickering street light put me on edge and casted a strange glow on the buildings surrounding.

I was a little frightened but I kept walking. One foot in front of the other, right, left, right, left. A Mariah Carey Christmas song that was on the radio before had gotten stuck in my head.

I don't need a lot this Christmas,

There is just one thing I need,

I don't care about the presents,

Underneath the-

I heard the slightest sound of footsteps behind me and I froze.

My heartbeat sped up but I forced myself to keep walking. I made another turn down an even darker alleyway and began to sprint. I had no idea where I was going at this point, I didn't want to take a chance by pulling my phone out for directions.

I decided to take a chance and turn around and saw a tall figure running straight after me.

My heartbeat sped up to a pounding rate and I spun on my heel and jogged straight into an even darker alleyway. I turned back around and saw the tall figure headed towards me faster. I started sprinting down the street again and heard the figures footsteps getting louder and faster. I looked behind me once more to see the figure sprinting straight for me.

It looked like a man and I couldn't process any more information as the person was getting closer and closer at an alarming rate. I had to do something fast.

I turned quickly and made yet another turn and quickly realized I had made a wrong decision. All I could see ahead of me was a thick brick wall. I gasped, realizing I was trapped against a dead end.

I turned to face the tall figure running towards me. As he came closer, I realized that I had seen this man before. I realized that this was the same tall guy at the party who was staring at me. I had thought he looked rather intimidating before but it was nothing compared to the look he was giving me now.

He had a hood pulled over his head casting a shadow over his face making me sink back into the brick wall. I let out a whimper as he came closer and closer.

I desperately looked for an escape but I could find none.

Think Zara think, I was desperately reminding myself.

I remembered my cell phone and hastily scrambled to get it out of the pocket of my leather jacket. I finally released my phone from the small pocket when a large hand grabbed my wrist. I quickly tried to put the phone back in my pocket but the grip on my wrist tightened extremely causing me to drop the phone and yell out in pain.

I tried to maneuver my way around the hooded obstacle of a man, but he reached out both his arms, me trapping me against the brick wall.

I realized my options were increasingly limited so I let out a piercing scream. The sharp sound sent high pitched waves throughout the night sky.

Someone must have heard that, I kept reassuring myself.

However, all that happened was the hooded man covered my mouth with his large hand and stifled all sounds.

No one came to rescue me at all.

I tried to resist him by pushing him backwards but it was no use as my hands were too tiny and weak against his built chest. I tried to scream again but it was no use.

I had once read that the elbow was one of the most powerful parts of the body so I hastily jabbed my elbow into the guy's chest. I could tell I had done at least a little but of damage because I heard the man curse under his breath.

He realized I was going to be a struggle and took out a white cloth. Tears began to stream down my cheeks as I realized that all attempts of my escaping we failing. I tried kicking and hitting again but the man's actions had gotten incredibly rough.

He quickly brought the white cloth to my face with great force. I tried to resist but I couldn't, the chloroform was beginning to fill my senses. I felt myself being lifted off the ground before my vision gave way into complete darkness.

I opened my eyes and pain instantly seized me. I winced a little but tried to sit up. I felt like I had just woken up to a terrible hangover, it felt as if massive fireworks of pain were continuously blooming inside my head.

I looked around the room which smelled like dust and wondered where the hell I was. The pounding in my head got even worse so I laid back down on the mattress. I looked around once more.

There wasn't much in the room except for a mattress on the concrete floor, a chair and a desk in one corner, and a cup filled with water on the desk. There weren't any windows except a door.

I made my way over to the water, my limbs aching and feeling more fragile then ever. I put the cup to my lips and when the first drop of water touched my lips, I realized how thirsty I really was.

I chugged down the rest of the water, the pain in my head easing only the slightest bit. I looked down at my clothes wondering why I was wearing such a tight fitted dress when suddenly the door flew open.

This took me by surprise and the cup fell out of my hands and dropped to the floor with a loud clang. I looked up at the instigator and took a few steps backwards.

It was the same tall guy who had ran after me last night, the memories of what happened last night flooded my brain making my eyes water. I looked at him cautiously, first at the varsity hoodie he was wearing. It had shaded his face last night but now I could see his chiseled features.

He noticed me staring and walked towards me. I panicked and stepped even farther backwards. I'd seen movies where the girl was kidnapped and I didn't want anything to happened to me the same way it did to them.

His jaw was tense and his mouth was set in a straight line. His intense gaze made my insides turn.

He took a couple more steps towards me and I was positive he was coming straight at me except he stopped at the desk and put another cup of water down onto the surface. He looked at me one last time and turned and walked out of the room.

After the door was closed and locked, I let out a breath I didn't realize I was holding. I walked over to the water with trembling hands and took a couple sips.

A thousand thoughts were running through my head and I had no idea what was going on. Had I been kidnapped? Why did they take me? What were they planning to do? Where am I? Who was that guy? Would I ever be able to go home? Questions crowded my mind, but all I could see were those hazel eyes.

How could his eyes be so intense?

They seemed so intriguing, almost mysterious.
