Chapter 5: The First Day of School (Part 2)

Lunch time na. Pagkapasok pa lanh namin sa Caffetiria ay nag-order na kami ng pagkain sa counter saka umupo sa upuan namin. Marami kaming pinag-isapan na mga bagay bagay tungkol sa gang. Nagulat na lang ako ng tumuntong si Kurt James sa lamesa.

"Ok everyone listen up!" Sigaw ni Trev

"Listen the leader of the Red Republic will announce something!" Sigaw naman ni Shawn. Lahat sila tumahimik at tumigil sa kung anong sinagawa nila.

"As you all know that the Red Republic head has to be 15, but over 3 years here its was just 14 because we've bean waiting for one espisifict person. Well many have tried begging and ask to be one of the head to gain popularity. Well we all said no to them!" Huminga muna ng malalim si Kurt James bago ituloy. "Well she just arrived yesterday." Pagkatapos non ay ngumiti siya ng maluwag sa akin at nilahad ang kanyang kamay sa akin at tinanggap ko naman iyon saka niya ako pinaakyat sa taas. "This girl's name is Chonna Monica Marquez, she is the twin sister of Chollo Maximillian Marquez, and she is one of the head of the Red Republic. That position have been reserved for her since the Red Republic was formed. Well Chollo recommend her and he told us her characteristics. At lahat yon ay pumasa para maging isa sa amin. Now you should respect her as you respect us or you'll regret it. Well not only from us, but from her, she may seem harmless but you'll never know what behind her angelic face." Seryosong sa bi niya tska nilalayan akong bumaba, habang sinasabi niya yon di ko maiwasang tumingin sa kanya, 'I think my heart just skip a beat' sabi ko sa utak ko. "Understood?!" Tanong niya pa. Lahat sila tumango. Saka siya bumaba.

"Wow dude! Nice speach!" Humahangang sabi ni Von.

"Kaya nga! Ewan ko na lang kung may mang bastos pa dito sa sinabi niyo." Sabi naman ni Kim

"Angelic face talaga?" Tanong ko

"Yeah. Mukha ka namang Angel eh." Nakangiti niyang sabi. I felt butterflies flying inside my stomach.

"Uyyy! Pumoporma si Kurt!" Kinikilig na wika ni Rox

"Tara na nga 12:50 na." Sabi naman si Chollo

"Panira naman ng moment to." Natatawang sabi ni Jake sabay tumayo.

"Tara na mamaya may maghigh-blood pa dito." Sabi naman ni Shawn. Tumayo na kaming lahat.

Sumabay ako kay Chollo. "Pst! Easy ka lang kambal, nakaka pangit ang sobrang di pagpansin sa akin." Nakangiti kong bulong sa kanya. Napangiti siya dahil sa sinabi ko.

"Alam mo... Nag-e-emo ung tao tapos yan ung sasabihin mo. Ibang kalase ka talaga" natatawang sabi niya tsaka ginulo ang buhok ko.

"Ok na sana kaso nanggulo ka pa ng buhok eh." Sabi ko habang inaayos ang buhok ko. Saktong 1:00 bago kaki nakadating sa classroom.

"You guys are late!" Galit na sabi ng teacher namin.

"No sir. It's only 1:00 pm. Which means we are not late we're just on time for your class." Sabi ni Kevin. Nagcheck naman ng orasan ung teacher.

"Ok you may all come in."

"Thank you sir."

"As you all know this is the Music. No need to introduce your selves because I know you all. Well almost except of her." He pointed at me. "Ok Miss stand up and come in front and introduce your self."

"My name is Chonna Monica Marquez, 17 years old."

"Tell me Ms. Marquez, are you related to Mr. Chollo Maximillian Marquez?"

"Yes Sir. I'm his twin sister."

"What school are you from?"

"Akkapela High."

"Great school. What is the reason you transfered here in Algeria High?"

"I transfered here because, I'm done."

"Your done?" Nagtatakang tanong niya

"Yes sir. I'm done getting back stab. I'm done with those snake friends, I'm done on being top 1 without paying some effort on it. In short I'm done. I transfered because I feel that this school will be different from Akkapela, that I will find some real friends. And I was right." At the last sentence I looked at them and smiled.

"Interesting. Ok you may now sit down. Thank you for your cooperation." She amusingly said. "Today I'm gonna group you into two. For the first row I your partner is the person behind you and the third row will do the same."

That means that my partner is Kurt James. Tumingin siya sa akin tsaka ngumiti, tapos tumingin muli siya sa harapan.

"You will create a music video. In December we will have a play, the passing of that music video is 3 weeks by now. We will choose the lead roles after that."

Marami pa sing sinabi si Sir. Kaso lang di na ako nakinig. Bahala na ang partner ko diyan. Buwahahaha!

"Ok class dismiss." Yan ang huling sinabi niya, bago lumabas. May isang subject pa. Kalahating oras na late ung teacher.

"Damn.. I hate waiting!" Sabay naming sabi ni Chollo. Tumingin ako sa kanya at ngumiti ng nakakaloko.

"Cut class?" Sabi ko tska tumayo

"I'm in! Beside she's not coming if she's late for 30 minutes already." Natatawang sabi niya tsaka tumayo.

"Kambal nga kayo." Sabi naman ni Kent.

"Huwag ka nang mag-inarte jan. You've got two choices, your coming or we are leaving you?" Sabi ni Kim tska tumayo.

"Ok. Ok. I'm coming." Sabi ni Kent tska tumayo.

"Tara Kurt." Sabi ni Shawn sabay tayo.

"Tsk! First day of class and we are already cutting classes." Naiirirang saui ni Kurt bago tumayo.

"You know it won't hurt your position as the smartest person on school just by cutting class once." Sabi naman ni Trev habang tumatayo.

"Smartest person?" Nagtatakang tanong ko

"Yes, he is the smartest person in the school. In fact he is the rank one on the 10th Geniuses of the school." Sabi ni Nicks

"And who is the 2nd?" Tanong ko pa.

"Rocco Vladimir the leader of The Black Dragons" sabi naman ni Jake.

"Tara na nga! Magcucut ba tayo o hindi?" Singit ni Chollo sabay labas at sumunod na kaming lahat.

"Alam mo yang kamabal mo may pagka-Bipolar." Sabi ni Rox

"Well kaya nga kami kambal eh." Sabi ko

Pumunta kami sa cafeteria saka umorder ng miryenda. Tapos nag-usap kami about sa araw na to.

"Chonna?" May kunsinong tumawag sa akin mula sa likod ko. That famaliar voice.

"Yes?" Tumalikod ako para makita ung mukha niya. "Do I know you?" Pagtataray ko. Of course I know him. How could I forget him. The first man who made me feel like a woman.

"You haven't change at all. Mataray ka pa rin pala." Natatawang sabi niya. "Hindi mo ba ako nakikilala?" Tanong pa niya

"No." Tipid na sagot ko.

"Let me give you a hint. I'm the knight and your my princess." Tinaasan ko siya ang kilay dahil sa sinabi niya.

"Who the hell are you again? Answer Now!" Tanong ni Chollo

"Ok! Ok!" Huminga siya ng malalim. "Robert Sebastian Vladimir." Nakangiting sabi niya. I'm still processing it.

How can he be here of all places? Kala ko nangibang bansa siya.

"Uy! Parang di ka pa makapaniwala." Sabi niya habang hawak ang sentido niya
