Finding out

"Wait what do u mean my dads dead?" I asked worried.

"Oh I diddnt realise I was the first one." He said almost not knowing I was there.

"First one what?"

"To see you. Suprisingly because you have been in a coma for around 3 months, give or take a few."

"Wait how. It was just a log."

"Yeah it was, it was a log on fire and it hit you right in the head." He said like I was a complete idiot.

"Well Mr. Goldylocks why dont you tell me who you are, why your here and what happened to my dad." I was mad now.

"Pill or not."

For the first time I remebered the pill. I looked over at it and thought it over. Why a pill? Whats somone doing here just to give me a pill? Is this the matrix or somthin? "Wait is this the matrix?"

"Heavens no! Well I accually dont know lets hope not. Were getting of topic. The pill is meant to give you extream control over your memories, thought and body."

Now I was intrested, not only had he promised to help me find out who killed my dad he would make me smart. Even though I dont even know what happened to my dad at all.

"Alright you have my attention. First tell me your name, why you are here, why you are helping me and what happened to my dad. Deal?" I told him hoping he would agree.

"Gladly. My name is Dr.Sean Mcseerin, I am here to help my old friend help his son, I am helping both of us I hate the killer as much as you do and your dad was shot on his bike along with his entire gang. All dead except Hershy."

Knowing this really lifted my spirits. Hershy and his twin Heshy are one of my closest friends. Suddenly I remebered that there was one other person I had to check on.

"Is Esme ok? Because if everyone else is hurt then what about her is she hurt?" I asked nervous.

"Yes yes calm down, she came by earlier to check on you. She still hasnt left you. Your lucky. Now the pill, will you take it?"

"Got any water," he tossed me a bottle. "Thanks." I drank it all. Every last drop then I took the pill.
