Under The Mistletoe: A Brad Imagine

It was Christmas eve and you and your boyfriend Brad went out for a walk in your local woods. You were about to leave when he handed you a wrapped up box, as you opened the box you found a baby pink knitted hat and scarf with brown hearts on them, "I saw them from a fancy boutique's window in New York and thought of you immediately, I was going to give you them tomorrow, but then you said about a walk and I decided to give them to you today". You slipped them on as Brad put a lead on your 8 month old golden retriever Harley.

You locked the front door to your house and started walking down the road towards the woods, Bradley grabbed your hand and intertwined his fingers with yours as you rested your head on his shoulder, you had been out for about half an hour when Brad looked you in the eyes and said "I know somewhere we can go" he did a cheeky wink and after being his girlfriend for almost 3 years you know that when he did a cheeky wink, he was always up to something. He led you to a small area surrounded by bushes and trees. He sat you down on a log under a branch. As you looked around, Brad nudged you and pointed to some mistletoe above you hanging on the tree branch.

"I know it's supposed to be a kiss under the mistletoe, but, we have kissed a million times in the two years and 7 months have been together, and I thought we should do something a bit different". He pulled a black velvet box out of his back pocket and got down on to one knee. You pulled your hands up to your face as the words came  out of his mouth. "Will you marry me?" said Brad." Yes, yes, yes, yes!" You said as Brad embraced you into a hug as tears flooded down your face.
