Chapter 6

After we all settled down Lynn and Justin had gone to the basement to watch a movie. And make out. Haha kidding. I sat beside Chaz in the living room and he looked at me.

"Hey guess what?" Chaz asked.

"Chicken butt?!" I said. He chuckled.

"No but good guess." He said.

"Darn." I acted like I was mad and Chaz laughed and hugged me. I smiled and leaned into him and Chaz kept his arms around me.

"So anyways I wanted to say that as of today we have been best friends for 17 years."Chaz said.

"Yea." I smiled and looked up at him. I was tempted to lean into him and kiss him but I wasn't gonna. Why? Cause he didn't offically break up with Rachel yet and I've never had my first kiss yet. I sighed and had my head against his chest.

"So what should we do?" He asked.

"I dunno." I said then Justin and Lynn came running into the living room. "Whoa! Crazy people why you running?" I asked.

"Oh haha cause I'm gonna tell you Lynn is a bad best friend!" Justin said. Lynn tackled him down and covered his mouth. I laughed and got out of Chaz's arms and got up and pulled Lynn off Justin.

"Hey as much as I enjoy seeing you hurt my brother I wanna hear why your a bad best friend." I said.

"Lynn forgot tomorrow is your 17th birthday!" Justin said.

"No I didn't! I simply said oh yea I remember but forgot at the same time." Lynn rolled her eyes.

"Oh yea huh? Haha well then what are we gonna do for Sky's birthday?" Chaz asked,

"Nothing." Justin said. Then he dragged me up to my room and locked me in. Wow rude!

Lynn's P.O.V

"Ok why did you do that?" I asked Justin.

"Cause I've been planning a surprise birthday party for Sky." Justin said. "So here's the plan. Chaz your gonna take Skylar out to breakfast tomorrow so Lynn, me, my mom, and grandparents can set up the party. Don't bring Sky back tomorrow until 12 p.m. If we need more time i'll text you." Justin said.

"Ok." Chaz said.

"Yay! This is gonna be fun." I said.

"Haha dork." Justin said. I tackled him down and we started to wrestle just as Sky came back down. We all watched a movie in the basement and then fell asleep.

Skylar's P.O.V

I woke up to someone's lips on my forehead. Weird way to wake up. I thought then opened my eyes and saw Chaz leaning over me.

"Morning Sky." Chaz said.

"I know its outside." I said and Chaz rolled his eyes and I giggled. He helped me up off the floor and we walked out the basement. Chaz took my hand and took me up to my room.

"Change your clothes." He said.

"Why? Its the morning?" Then I saw the time and it was 7 am? holy crap!

"Haha just go." He pushed me to my room andthen he walked downstairs. I sighed and went into my room and changed into jeans and a black tank top. I brushed my hair and washed up then walked downstairs.

"I hope you had a good reason for waking me up at 7 am." I said.

"I did." Chaz replied.

"And why is that?" I asked.

"Cause I'm gonna take you to breakfast."

"At 7 am? What crazy person does that?" I asked.

"Me." He smiled. I rolled my eyes and followed him outside and we got into Justin's car and he drove to Ihop. We got out and walked inside and got seated. The waitress looked about 18 and she kept flirting with Chaz which kinda ticked me off.
