Chapter 5 ~ "HANG OUT!"

I woke up to the sun shining on my face.

It was morning, and I had a banging headache from the party last night. After about 10 minutes of laying in bed, I got up and walked down stairs.

There was a overwhelming smell of pancakes as I entered the room.

"Nick have I ever told you how much I loved you?"

"I don't know? but your gonna love me even more after I tell you I didn't make you any," he said with a cheeky grin on his face.

"Well I HATE you then," really screaming out the "hate".

"Oh how my heart aches for your love," Nick said while holding his chest.

"And by the way I did make you some but your not getting any," he said poking his tounge out.

"I don't want any, anyways," I pout crossing my arms.

"I have to go home now because i'm hanging out with Sam later."

"Okay your loss," he said while shoving a pancake into his mouth.

And with that I went up to Nicks room, got changed, grabbed my bag and headed home.

I had to skate the whole way home which was like 2 miles.

By the time I got home it was already 1pm, so I text Sam asking what time he wanted to hang out.

I got a response almost immediately. It read 'meet me at the beach near the peir in an hour ;) p.s bring you swim suite'.

I giggled at his winky face before respectfully calming myself.

Okay so I had an hour to basically do nothing so I just sat on the couch and watched Glee.

After one episode there was still 20 minutes until I had to be at the beach. So went up stairs and packed a bag for the beach. It consisted of a small bottle of sunscreen, taning oil, a beach towel and a can of Arizona green iced tea. My favourite.

That took me about 10 minutes to pack because I couldn't find the right bag, but now I'm finally ready to go.

I left 5 minutes before I had to be at the beach because it only takes 5 minutes to get there if I ride.

I rode my Pink and lime green coloured penny board which Nick brought me, until I got to the peir.

I could see sam in the distance wating for me on the peir. when he saw me he stood and smiled.

"DAMM!" that boy was HOT!

Sams pov

I left home and skated to the peir on my penny board.

I left like 10 minutes early so she wasn't left there waiting for me.

Once I got to the peir I sat there for about 5 minutes before she arrived.

When I saw her I stood up and for some reason I couldn't stop smiling.

I could imagine how dorky I looked right now.

But something about this girl made me so nervous, but happy at the same time.

She needs to be mine.

No wait she will be mine.

Kayla's pov

"Hey," I greeted Sam with a hug.

I don't think the hug was expected, it was a little awkward but I didn't mind because I love hugs.

"Hey," he cutely smiled after I finished squizing him to death.

I laughed at his awkwardness, slowly taking one step back.

"What?" he said defensively looking quickly behind himself.

"Your just so cute," I smiled not realising what I had just said.

"I didn't mean that."

"Wait its not like you aren't cute it's just..."

"It's okay, I think your really cute too," he cute me off

After that little awkward moment we walked up the beach. We talked about stuff like youtube and things that he liked. Then we talked about me and stuff that I liked, but there wasn't much to tell him becuase my life wasn't nearly as exciting as his.

He talked about his bestfriend Kian, who he shared a youtube channel with. Which I knew because I watched his youtube channel. But Kian sounded way funnier in real life then in his videos, well he did the way Sam described him .

He also talked about his youtube collab group called 'O2L' or 'Our 2nd Life' which I had heard of but never really watched any of their videos. Then all of a sudden we sat down on the beach. I didn't mind because I felt preety tired anyway.

It was now 3pm and it was boilling hot so I decided it was time to get my tan on.

So I took my clothes off, leaving me just in my bikini. I could see Sam eye balling me from head to toe.

Sams Pov

We walked for a while and I could see she was getting tired so I sat down and she joined me.

Then she must have of gotten hot because she took of her clothes and was just laying there in her bikini, her body was amazing.

I couldn't stop staring, until I realised she had noticed.

Then I started to get a little hot to so I took my tank top off. Then I saw her had turn to stare at me.

Kaylas pov

I think he relised that I had noticed he was staring at me because he quickly turned away.

Then he took his top off.

Holy Crap!

I think I just mentally died.

His body was surprisingly super fit, his abs where so defined. I liked it. I was just laying there staring at his amzing hot body.

Lucky I was wearing my sun glasses, so hopefully he didn't notice.

Then I felt my cheeks turning red.

"Race you to the water" I here sam yell, already up and running.

So I quickly jump up and run after him.

I was running so fast I didn't realise that Sam had stopped running just before the water.

I ended up running straight into him.

We feel straight into the water. Waves splashing in my face, momentarily blinding me.

As the tide went out Sam turned over, so now we where facing each other. I was left laying on top of him. Looking strait into his eyes, water dripping off my face. I moved in close, our lips now just inches apart.

"I win," I tease as our lips almost met.the moment was shortly lived as it was rudely interupted by a wave crashing straight on top of us.

Falling on top of him, I roll over to lay down next to him. After a few seconds of heavy breathing then followed by laugher he stood up and reached for my hand.

I gave him my hand and he gentley pulled me up into a hug. We stood there for a while just staring at each other, but yet again the moment was shirt lived.

"I WON," I herd him whisper as he gently let go of our hug and ran back to the stuff.

Leaving me stunned, before running back up to meet him.
