Chapter Five- First Kisses / Secret's Out.
Rylon
I don't know what time I fell asleep but I know I spent a long time watchin' Raven, happy that he was home. When I woke Raven was curled up at my side, his head on my shoulder and his hands still on my shirt in an iron grip. I couldn't help the deep feelin' in my chest. I couldn't help but enjoy his warmth, his scent, the gentle beatin' of his heart.
Him.
It broke my heart when he opened his eyes and they welled up with tears.
"What's wrong? Are you ok?" I asked.
"He stole it." tears leaked at the corners of his eyes.
"What did he steal?"
"My first kiss." Raven's fingers went to his tremblin' lips as more tears fell. I gently moved his fingers away and slid my palm along his jawline and brushed his lower lip with my thumb. Leanin' down toward them I pressed my lips to his while he watched me with wide eyes, his entire body stiff. Suckling gently on his lower lip I briefly slid my tongue across them. I knew he'd be this sweet. This soft.
"Now, as far as I'm concerned I got your first kiss." I pecked his lips again briefly. I almost groaned aloud when he licked at his lips wishin' I could kiss him again but I needed to make sure his disaster date stopped at only a kiss.
"Did he... did he stop at a kiss?" I asked brushin' back his hair with my fingers, "Tell me what happened."
Raven took a deep breath then swallowed hard a couple of times before turnin' his face away from me.
"We went to that new restaurant in town and ate. He said we'd go for a short drive before he brought me back home." Raven paused a moment before continuing in a shaky voice. "We stopped at the wild rose field behind Old Kennedy's land. He spread a blanket and we laid down just looking at the stars and we just talked. Everything was perfect." he whispered the last part.
"Then he started touching me. I ... I told him to stop but he didn't. H-he ... he climbed on top of me and held down my hands. He started pulling at my shirt. I fought him off but he held me down again. I begged him to stop... I begged him but he kept grabbing at my clothes trying to take them off." a sob broke past his lips and I gathered him in my arms again and held him until he felt he could continue.
"He kissed me... It felt so wrong... his tongue was in my mouth and I felt like puking. I bit his lip hard and when he let go of me I kicked him and ran. I cut through Kennedy's land and came home." I sighed in relief. Thank god he still had his innocence.
"He said I wanted to. I wanted him to do that. That it was the reason I went with him to that field but I didn't... I-I didn't want to do that." Raven looked at me as if tryin' to see if I believed him.
"I know honey. I know you didn't want to. But men like him are only after one thing no matter what they have to do to get it. None of this was your fault Raven." I say kissin' his forehead. I held him again until his cryin' stopped and his breathin' was slower.
"Go take a shower. I'll fix us some breakfast." I tell him climbin' off the bed. He crawled off after me and I walked to the door.
"Rylon." I paused when he said my name.
"Thank you. For staying with me." he says playin' with his fingers. Gosh, he's just so darn adorable sometimes.
"Anytime baby. Anywhere." shit. Why'd I say that? Raven's cheeks reddened and I left quickly to avoid the awkward atmosphere that was definitely taking up residence.
