1-the mission

~Lucy POV~

"Natsu!" I yell as a black magic mage comes from behind him. I watch Natsu as he whips around to face his enemy. Smiling, I turn my focus to my opponent. The poison wizard smirks as more of her friends join the fight. Im surrounded.

"Come with us lucy, we do not wish to harm you." The poison mage hisses.

"Leave her alone!" Natsu shouts. He burns through the crowd of mages. I stand still gathering as much magic energy as i can, I've never done this spell alone... without collapsing imideatly after.

I take a deep breath, "survey the heavens, open the heavens, all the stars, far and wide, show me thy appearance, with such shine. Oh Terrabiblos, i am the ruler of the stars, aspect become complete, open the malevolent gate, oh 88 stars of the heaven-"

"Lucy, no don't do it, you haven't practiced enough!" Natsu yells.

"Shine! Urano Metria!" I shout. My attack hits. All of my opponents are on the ground groaning, guess they weren't that strong. All of a sudden my head pounds, and my knees buckle.

"Lucy!" Natsu calls running over to me. I lay there, trying to gather my energy. I feel natsu's soft hands pull my head onto his lap. "Lucy, what were you thinking." He asks, his voice isn't accusing me though.

"N-oth-in-g," i try to say. Natsu laughs at that, but his laugh is laugh is different. There's to much worry in the tone. Then i close my eyes, and try to sleep.

~Natsu POV~

I carry Luce back to the guild, but something seems off. Then the smell hits my nose. It smells like dark magic. I stop dead in my tracks, but I'm to late. My sore body lands on the ground with a thud. Lucy's is next to mine. My back aches from the kick they planted, and my head throbs. Lucy's body is lifted, and I flip out, or try to. I can't move, whatever magic this guy has it seems to suck my energy away.

"What should we do with this one Master Toche?" A deep voice questions, as he kicks my side showing who he's referring to. I groan.

"He's still awake. We must take him with us, he'll cause the plan a bit of trouble otherwise." The master says. His voice is calm and cool. Suddenly I'm all fired up. I get up and use 'fire dragon iron fist' to get lucy back. The mages are surprised at my sudden attack, but they don't even get the slightest bit hurt. They watch calmly as I run away with lucy.

~Master Toche~

"What do we do now?" My weak sidekick asks. I chuckle, with a calm expression on my face.

"We wait till sundown, three days from now. Then we go in and take what's ours. I say keeping my voice steady and calm. This is nothing more then another kiddnapping. Why do I worry? Yes, that pink haired kid is strong, but he'll never be strong enough to beat me.

~Lucy POV~

I awake to Natsu. He's a bed down from me in the infirmary. I smile at him. He's so cute when he sleeps. Wait, what? Why i am thinking this, yes i like him... but i don't love him, do i? No this can't be possible, besides he doesn't love me.

"Hey Luce," he says, with his famous salamander smile. Man he looks good, his pink hair all spiky and perfect. I stare into his deep black eyes pull me closer to him. He's so handsome. I shake off the thought, he doesn't love me like that. I tell myself. He turns his smile to a frown "anything wrong Luce?" He asks me, taking on a serious tone.

"No, everything's fine." I say, as i shake my head. My cheeks feel like thier burning, so i quickly cover them with my blanket. I can't like Natsu, why do I torture myself?

"Are you sure, Luce." He asks playfully. Somethings up, now he smiles like he's about to pull a prank on me. I nod my head slowly. "Are you positive?" he asks, coming towards me. Then he dives his hands towards my stomach and starts tickling me like no tomorrow. I laugh my head off, rolling around the bed.

"Stop it! Stop it!" I laugh at natzu. He laughs back. I'm thrown into a small fit of coughing, and Natsu retracts his hands. "What day is it?" I ask him.

He frowns, his expression suddenly serious. "It's Sunday." He responds. I frown back.

"We left on Thursday, its been three days." I say, shocked. He nods his head, then scratches the back of his head nervously.

"I got you this." Natsu replies with excitement and nervousness in his voice. I smile at him, wondering what it could be. Its probably just an old prank. My eyes glance outside.

"The sun's about to set, i should get going home." I tell natsu. His lips curve into a smile, and he puffs his chest out.

"Shall i walk you home miss heartfillia." Natsu questions, a gentleman's tone setting in his voice. We both burst into laughter.

"But of course mr. Dragneel, now pass me the gift you wish to bestow on me, i wish to open it back at my palace." I say with a graceful bow. More laughter.

"May i present your gift, Miss." Natsu said bringing out a beautifully wrapped present. The bow was a stunning shade of magenta. The gift was wrapped to perfection, apart from the small burn on the side. I could tell he made it from the heart.

"Oh natsu, it's amazing." I tell him. He smirks, then passes the gift to me

"Let us leave Miss heartfillia." Natsu announced so he hooked our arms together and we walked out of the guild.

-At lucy's apartment-

"U should get going. Its getting dark out." I tell Natsu. He smiles at me.

"Yah I'll see you tomorrow." He replies as i set the beautiful present on my desk. "Hey Luce?" He questions me.

"Yah," i respond. He smiles, yet he looks highly nervous.

"Do you want to meet me by the tree tomorrow, around 11am?" Natsu asks.

"Of course." I say, excitement edging into my voice. With that he opens the window, and jumps into the night sky.

Im so tierd that I collapse onto my bed. I cant stay awake long enough to open the present. So I go to sleep.

I bolt right back awake, shear a creak from my door. Someone's in my house. I close my eyes, pretending to be asleep.lots of heavy footsteps make thier way to my bed. Im guessing there's 4 people.

"Good job lulaby. She seems to be asleep. You put the perfect sleep spell on her, we knew she was going to be a tough one." A deep voice says. Lulaby, he must of put me to sleep. All of a sudden all my magic energy is gone. Except for the bit keeping me alive.
"Silencer, death, bring the truck up, Camofla, conceal it." The deep voice tells the three. Ok silence must be the one that took my energy. Im sensing poison magic from Death, I'm guessing she's the poison mage from the forest. The master seems powerful though, there's no magic aura coming from him. Suddenly my body's being lifted, I open my eyes and thrash around. The master curses under his breath. As i thrash I look at my present, on the side it says "I love you Luce." I smile, Oh natsu i love you too.

"Master, I'll fix this!" Lulaby announces, worriedly. Wow, so much for that I think as I fall into a deep sleep.
