Broken Arrow (Roman Reigns)

Prologue

It's crazy to think that in a matter of seconds, one horrific accident can change your life forever.

At first, you're in shock, wondering if you're stuck in an awful nightmare.

And when the cold, harsh reality hits you. It hits you all at once.

You feel the air beginning to escape from your lungs quicker and quicker with every breath you take. You want to scream as loud as you can, but there is not enough air left to make a sound. You hear your heart beating in your chest so loudly, it's the only thing you can hear. Your body begins to tremble and it feels like your legs are going to give out from beneath you. It's like your body is so overcome with emotion, it doesn't know what to do.

You realize you are stuck in a nightmare that you will never wake up from.

And when that passes, you almost begin to feel numb.

They say what doesn't kill you makes you stronger.

But what if you've been through so much pain and sadness, that you don't even know if you can find the strength to keep going?

If you're lucky, like me, you find that one thing to hold onto. That one thing that gives you the inner strength you need to keep going. That one thing that gives you hope for the future.

And when you have it, you do everything you can to never let it go.

Authors Note: Soooo I have been working on this story and planning it out for quite a while now (a little less than a year - I am a terrible procrastinator) and I finally decided to post it! 

The song Broken Arrow by The Script helped inspire the title, so you can give that song a listen to get a better idea of what the story is about.

Also, I made that short video for Rosie because I thought it fit the prologue. 

Just a heads up, you will notice that I'm going to use Dean and Roman's real names in this story. Also, the way I portray any of the wrestlers will most likely not relate back to their characters (so Dean won't actually be a complete lunatic, but he will have his moments of course :P). Their personalities will be based on what I feel they would be like in real life. 

I'm not sure when I'll update this, I think it'll depend on the response I get so If you could let me know what you think, that would be awesome and very much appreciated. I will try to update this as soon as I can!
