It was the first day of school. I woke up to my mom screaming "MONICA GET YOUR ASS DOWN HERE." That bitch won't let me sleep, it's only like 6 am. Then I squint at the clock and see that it's 7:30. OMG I'm going to be late for my first day in middle school! I take a quick shower, do my makeup, French braid my blonde hair, and put on some high waisted shorts and a vans crop top with my adidas. I grabbed my bag as I ran out the door for the bus. It was driving away. Great start at my new school.

I was about to ask my mom for a ride when a boy that looked my age rolled down his passenger window. "Hey cutie, I'm Jacob. Did you miss your bus?" He has the cutest rosy cheeks and elf ears. Why isn't he working with Santa or baking cookies in a tree? But damn, he's one tall elf.

I blushed, "Yeah, I'm Monica by the way."

"That's a gorgeous name. You can catch a ride with us if you want to. "

"That would be great, thanks so much."

Jacob introduced me to his friends in the back of his mom's matte black Jeep Wrangler. "There's Loren, Mark, and Hunter."

They all said hi to me. Damn Jacob is really hot. I think I might like him. Wait no, I can't do this he won't like a girl like me he'll only break my heart. Whenever I trust someone like Jacob they just hurt me. I can't get my heart broken again. It always happens when I trust a...muser.
