Naomi's POV

When I entered my first class, which was psychology with Bailee and Leah, I found my two best friends talking from where they sat in the middle of class. I grinned when I saw Bailee flushing a pretty pink and gushing at whoever she was talking about while Leah listened attentively with a small smile.

"Yo guys!" I greeted as I neared them. "What's up?"

"Nao!" Bailee greeted with a speedy wave and an excited smile. "You're here!"

"Of course she's here," Leah laughed and thonked the girl on the head while waving at me, "now I'm not alone listening to you gush about what Ross Nakakura did to you." My eyes widened at what I heard.

"Ross?" I questioned and put my bag on the table next to Leah's and sat down in the desk. "As in, Mr. Heartmayer University's Ross Nakakura?"

"Shhh!" Bailee quickly hushed before looking around, a panicked expression on her face in case someone were to find out who she was talking about.

"Bailee, we're in college, not high school," I raised an eyebrow and slapped her hand away from me, "no one cares about who you have a crush on."

"That's what I said earlier too," Leah rolled her eyes, "she told me just to refer to him as 'he'."

"How about a nickname?" I suggested amusedly. I saw Bailee's eyes lit up and her mouth drop in realization.

"Yes!" She grinned and nodded her head.

"How 'bout Skyscraper?" Leah snorted in amusement. "He's so tall, I can't even see the board in Statistics whenever he sits in front of me."

"That sounds like an insult!" Bailee frowned and I had to laugh at that.

"Pretty Boy?" I suggested, only to rile her up. True to my thought, she turned to me with a deeper frown and crossed her arms. "What?" I laughed. "He did join and win the school male pageant, garnering the title of Mr. Heartmayer University." I leaned towards them and whispered in a hushed voice, "Plus, he has an earring!" Leah laughed while Bailee looked annoyed.

"Guys!"

"Okay, okay," Leah laughed and waved her hands around, "what about Gatorade?"

"Gatorade?" Bailee and I both questioned with raised eyebrows. The mother of our trio shrugged.

"He's always carrying a Gatorade around."

"It's perfect!"

"So what happened?" I interrogated, causing Bailee to blush. I could practically feel the giddiness radiating off of her. It was ridiculous.

"I was texting and walking earlier, right?" Bailee started and I nodded. "And then I dropped my favorite pink lip gloss, right?" She held up the thin pink tube and waved it in front of me. I raised an eyebrow.

"How'd you drop it?" I questioned.

"It was in my pocket, but that's not the point!" She exclaimed and put the lip gloss down. "So when I put my cellphone into the back pocket of my jeans, where I always put it, and started to bend down to pick it up, a hand suddenly grabbed it and I stood up, only to come face to face with GATORADE!" She screamed happily and I felt the people around us giving us weird looks. Bailee seemed to ignore it and continue. She grabbed my hands and held it up for a dramatic effect. "He said, 'Is this yours?' and then I stared at him like an idiot and nodded my head. He just smiled at me and handed me my lip gloss. And then he left like a majestic prince." She dropped my hands and covered her face with her hands, her face turning pink and she was jumping in her seat. I turned to Leah.
