There are always unexpected thing's that happen in life especially when you have to devote yourself to your only child...
Sometime ago there was a man who was living a hard life after he lost his wife in a terrible car accident. Life wasn't easy for him as he had a daughter to think about. He had to make hard decision's on what was best for her but in the end he chose to take care of her himself. As life went on it didn't become easy for him as he tried with every bit of strength he had in him to keep his job and look after his daughter. Everyday that passed was a struggle for them both. He suddenly became reserved from his job and money and food was hard to come by as they didn't have much themselves but he tried his best to make sure there was enough supplies for them both. After awhile he began to hate life and became depressed from losing the person he loved most.
He knew in his mind he was just living for his little girl and trying in every possible way to make sure she had a future.
A few month's later...
Winter time arrived and Christmas was only a few day's away.
Coming home from work on Christmas Eve, his daughter had prepared a gift for her father. In his own mind he was infuriated with anger as money was tight and he saw her gift as wasting the gold wrapping paper. He allowed her to place the gift under the Christmas tree for the next day but he wasn't pleased with her in the slightest.
However..
The day of Christmas arrived and the little girl brought the gift from under the tree to her father while he sat drinking his morning coffee.
She silently spoke : 'Daddy I made this for you'..
His anger soon flared up again when he opened the box and found that the box was empty.
He looked at her in disappointment and raised his voice to her : 'Don't you know that when you give someone a gift there is supposed to be something inside.'?
He threw the gift away and buried his face in his hand's.
The little girl looked up at him with tears in her eyes.
A little voice spoke : 'Oh, Daddy it's not empty, I put a lot of kisses into the box, they were all for you...'
The father felt crushed from his reaction towards his daughter.
He wrapped his arms around his little girl, and he begged for her forgiveness.
She hugged him back and covered his face with kisses. He quickly retrieved the box from where he threw it took the box and together they fixed the gold paper that had been ruined.
He pretended to take some kisses out of the box.
While his daughter laughed and clapped her hands happily.
That day was the most fun they had ever since his wife passed away.
The father promised himself that he would make sure to keep a good relationship with his daughter.
Year's passed and they're relationship as daughter and father was stronger with each day that passed.
Time flew by and the little girl had grown up to be a young woman. She became engaged and had plan's to get married and see the world with her new husband.
Her father felt sad because his little girl who he raised he knew she had her own life to live.
He felt like he was losing her but she reassured him by saying : 'You will always be right here'. She place a hand on her heart and spoke again ' I will always love you daddy'.
He held his daughter in his arm's because he knew in his own mind he had to let her go live her life.
With his daughter gone there were days when he would get frustrated and he would open the box she gave him and he would place an imaginary kiss in there and remember the unconditional love of his daughter.
He closed the box and he lay on his bed holding the box close to his chest. He took this chance to remember the old days when he was a young guy. He wasn't a guy that had really close friends who he could talk freely with. Nothing relating to his personal life and his deep feeling's. The most person he was close to on this earth was his grandma. Their bond was irreplaceable. Nothing could compare to the love and support they showed for each other. They had great moment's together throughout their lives.
He would tell his grandmother that : 'You are my bestfriend that I ever had' and she would tell him that : 'One day you will meet a really close friend and you will see how much you will be close with one another and care for one another and that friend may not be around you but is somewhere in this world and destiny will combine you both somehow in the right time, just be patience because the precious thing's in life don't comes very easy and you have to be patience until you get it and when it comes you will know that is was worth the wait'.
His grandma passed away when he was 20 years old and he had never felt more lonely in this world without her being there for him. She was the only person who was his whole world and his heart too.
He lived close by from the sea and from being a child he grew up beside the sea and whenever he was feeling lonely or sad or just want to talk freely about his deep feelings he would just go there at night when there was no one there and talk with the sea and he believes that the sea could hear him and he could feel better when showing his true feeling's.
Day's and time passed. The one goal in his life was just looking for a chance to achieve his dreams and have his sight set on those dream's becoming true. All he needed was just someone in his life who would be there for him and care for him in this lonely world he was in.
He was almost 22 year's old and one day while being on the internet he met a girl called Rachel. The first time he talked to her he felt that she's was different from anyone he had met before. He begun feeling he could really trust her and became very close from her in such a short time. She was the first person he met on the internet and felt trust towards her. Each day that passed they kept talking to each other and they eventually became bestfriend's. He was her only bestfriend and it was the same thing for her. The distance was the only thing between them both. They didn't feel far from each other because their friendship was really strong. He was always telling her that he wishes he could get something for her but she was always replying to him that she doesn't want anything accept being there for him always. That was her only intention and all that mattered to her. The same applied about him too he just want's to be there for her.
What connects them isn't just them chatting everynight but a precious friendship between two people who think the world of each other. Even being so far away from one another he realized that she was worth to waiting for and all that patience, effort and time will be really worth it.
In the end he gained his precious treasure..
Each and every one of us as human beings has been given a golden box filled with unconditional love from friend's, family, and relatives.
There is nothing more precious than that, that can be owned by any person.
If you have a box like that go out and enjoy that box, including when you feel lonely and frustrated.
If you do not have one don't be sad, time is still available to you to purchase one and cover it with the prettiest covers and give it to each person that makes you feels hope and puts a smile on your face.
You deserve such a life like that and they deserve the same from you.
The End
