After the underworld

The hero's are back from their journey to the underworld and enjoying the break before their next adventure. All are home safely, pondering what to do with their spare time. Regina, robin and zelena are all taking the time to fix their relationships and bond with the new member of the hood family. David and snow decided to take some 'me' time together and are isolating themselves from the rest of the group. Henry's trying to get  to know more of the kids around Storybrooke. Rumple and belle are buying baby equipment and getting themselves ready for parenthood.
"what about you two?" Regina asked pointing at the couple sat in the corner.
"yeah, what about us, swan?" hook asked turning towards the startled blonde he was sitting next to.
"what do you mean?" emma asked looking round at all her family members, then back at hook.
"you know, we'd better go..." snow said tugging at David's arm and staring at Regina.
"hmm..." Regina mumbled following everyone out the apartment.
Emma rolled her eyes and walked to the kitchen, closely followed by killian.
"want a cup of tea?" emma asked hoping he wouldn't mention the awkward moment before.
"no I'm fine, love."
Emma glanced at him nervously and smiled. She knew exactly what they would be doing on their break, building a future. She had already booked a tour of one of the neighbourhood houses and couldn't wait to tell hook. Emma didn't mention it in front of the others because she was scared they would think she was going soft.
"so....wha-" killian started, obviously going to ask what they were going to do during their holiday. Emma rolled her eyes and kissed him, interrupting him mid sentence.
"I do love a good kiss, swan, but you could've let me finish my sentence?"
"otherwise there would be no point kissing you." emma smirked turning back towards the kettle.
This time it was Killian's turn to roll his eyes.
"as I was saying, what will we be doing in the space between the next disaster?"
Emma knew that there was not much point stalling him. Deep down, she was scared to admit she wanted to spend the rest of her life with him. In case of heartbreak, she'd already lost him once and didn't want to lose him again. Emma took a deep breath and spoke.
"we will be buying a house!"
Killian smirked and pulled emma towards her.
"will we now?" he said raising an eyebrow and holding emma in his arms.
"yep, I've booked us in to look around a house tomorrow!" she nodded.
"why didn't you tell me....us earlier when Regina asked? "
Emma shrugged and leaned her head on his shoulder.
"I don't know...i was scared." she mumbled into his chest honestly.
Hook lifted her head up with his hand, looked into her eyes and pulled her in for a kiss. They both stood there, embracing each other for a moment.
"you don't need to be scared anymore, I'll always be here." he eventually said after they had both pulled away. Emma couldn't help but remember herself stabbing him in the chest, she pulled away imedently and turned back to the kettle.
"tea?" she asked again.
