Wesley was cut off by a giggle on the other end of the phone.

"Sounds like you've caught the sickness of love!" Wes' gay best friend, Will, laughed.

Wesley rolled his eyes.

"yeah, well it really is making me sick. sick that I have absolutely no balls to ask them out!"

Will laughed again.
"C'mon dude, the sooner the better. she's only here for like, not that long. Just do it!"

"Have you forgotten that asking a girl out is way harder than a guy?" Wes questioned.

"Have you forgotten I'm gay? I wouldn't know. Plus it would be equal because the guy you ask has to be gay, remember?"

"Right I get it."

"Well, I'll leave it up to you if you actually ask her or not, but do something extra romantic- like show up where she's staying and ask her or whatever, that'll earn you extra points"

After his talk with Will, Wesley decided on going for a short walk, to clear his head.

His mind repeated as he walked. Wes wondered if she even liked him back. God, he sounded like a middle schooler in their first relationship.

After the walk, Wesley went home to take a nap. This shit is tiring.

Eden

"SoooooOooo wesley huh?" Nadine questioned Eden. The two were sitting on the carpeted floor, doing each other's nails.

"He's sooo sweet, and witty and gosh those brown eyes of his and that deep voice. So absolutely adorable." Eden sighed.

"What's your game plan?" Obviously Nadine was hinting she ask wes out.

"I don't knowwwwww! I was hoping he'd ask me, after all I'm a traditional kinda gal," She joked. Although she really hoped Wes would ask her and save the struggle.

"Alrighty whatever floats your boat" Nadine winked.

"Shut upppp" Eden nudged her, knocking over the bottle of 'Pretty in Pink' colored nail polish.

"Oh wonderful, that's gonna take years to get out"

The girls both laughed as they scrubbed up the polish until the stain wasn't visible anymore.

"He did give you his number you know, so you guys could get to know each other a little better" Nadine winked as she put up the nail kit.

"I know, I know. And I really what to text him- no I want to talk to him. But I mean how?" Eden puzzled.

"Hey why don't you get together tonight? Get to know each other better, just the two of you. It'll be funnnn." Nadine nudged Eden some more.
