Justin's pov --

3:59pm ---
"Baby, lets go for a ride!" Dylan smiled
"Alright!" we got on out motor bikes and started the engies. Tonight was the night, the night I proposed.
It was a foggy day up at our camp site, with a little bit of ice on the ground.
"Come on Justin," screamed Dylan "speed up!"
I didn't speed up, I stayed the same speed I did before, slowly trailing behind her.
"Its too dangerous! Slow down!" I screamed up too her, but I don't think she heard me.
"What?" she called back.
I heard a car getting closer, but didn't bother to say anything, Dylan heard it too. I hoped.
Thats when it happened. it all went too fast.
It was a big semi truck driving along the rode, more like speeding. it would have been so hard too see, considering fog filled the air. his tires slipped out, and he lost control of all his handling.
Dylan didn't notice.
I screamed ahead to her "Dylan watch out!"
She faintly heard me, but it was too late. the semi hit her dead on, squishing her against a tree.
This was the night, that I lost her.

-----
It was two years ago, I remember it like it was yesterday.
It scared my brain and my heart. I lost her, I actually lost her.
It was our senior year of high-school, we had our future planned out. we we're going to get married, have two kids, and have a big house with great jobs. but that all changed.
For the rest of that senior year, I partied. So many girls said "Can I have your number?" but, I did not let them in. I couldn't, nobody compares to Dylan. No one ever will. Yeah, I've seen other pretty girls. but their eyes don't glimmer like Dylan's, their hair doesn't smell like honey like Dylan's did, their hands don't fit perfectly in mine like Dylan's did. She rebelled from the good life, she enjoyed adventures, she would spend a weekend in the woods rather than in a spa. she was my absolute dream girl.
I only got that one last look before she was hurled against the tree. I never got to say goodbye. I wish I would have gone with her. it hurts to live without her. her not being here, makes my heart shatter, repeatedly.
I miss you Dylan
That seemed to be the thought that was always in my head. It was always, about Dylan.
"Justin!" my mom called, shaking me from my inner thoughts.
I got off the edge of my bed and went to see her. "Yeah?" I called from the top
of the stairs
"In the kitchen honey!" she called me down
"What is it?" I asked her, wanting to go back to bed.
"We have people who just moved in next door, lets welcome them," She squinted her eyes at me "yes, that means you're coming with me." she grabbed the basket of cookies and the Keruig coffee maker.
Mom loved to make a good impression.
We walked out the front door, and went over to our new neighbours.
I rang the door bell, and women with dark brown hair, with amazing green eyes, she looked about forty answered the door.
"Hello," she welcomed "I am Nerissa." she smiled widely
"Hello, Nerissa! I am Pattie and this is my son Justin. We live right next door, and thought we would bring you a welcoming gift." my mom held out the basket of cookies and the coffee maker.
"Wow, thank you! come in you two!" We entered Nerissa's home. it was huge but boxes were everywhere.
"Justin, I have a daughter who is outside right now. if you'd like to meet her."
I smiled and said "sure." maybe she was beautiful, like Dylan.
I found my way through the boxes, making it to the outside door.
There she was, Nerissa's daughter.
She was beautiful. her thick chocolate brown hair was in a pony tail that reached her hips, she had basketball shorts and sports bra and basketball shoes on. she looked stunning.
I watched her play, she was shooting 3's like nothing, then getting her rebound and doing a left hand lay up. When she missed her lay ups she did 5 push ups, she never missed her 3's
She is dedicated.
Thats when she saw me. she dropped her basketball, and shrieked.
"Who the hell are you?" she screamed grabbing her big hoodie that said "South Dakota Basketball" then slipping it over her head.
"Sorry, I didn't mean to barge in like that." I shrugged stepping closer to her
"Its fine. But, who are you?" she repeated herself, more angry then the first time.
"Oh, right," I chuckled then continued "Im Justin Bieber." I put my most award winning smile on my face, hoping to make a good impression.
"Cool. Im Kayla." she half smiled, then turned away from me, grabbing her ball and shooting again.
Kayla, my memory rung.
That was going to be the name of Dylan and I's daughter (if we had one). I pushed the memory aside, and walked onto the court.
"Mind if I join?" I said loud enough so she could hear.
"Fine with me." She shot again, this time missing the basket, and air balling it. she turned around and shot a glare at me. "I missed a 3 because of you." she scrunched her eye brows, and stomped towards her ball.
"Hey, im sorry La." I said, trying to be friendly with the nick name.
She met my eyes, and I saw hurt flash through hers. "Don't. Call. Me. La." she said trying to hold back her tears. she grabbed the ball, shooting another 3, this time making it. Swish went the ball.
Thats when she lost it. She collapsed to the ground, letting the ball go with her. her body gave out, and she began to weep.
I rushed over to her, to see if she was okay.
"I lost him." she said, letting her tears hit the ground below her.
