Chapter 18

     *Comment Your Song of the Day*

          "Wait Marik! Stop running so fat! I have short legs remember!"  I said with my heavy breath from all the running from the 'chain' sound. Marik's face painted with panic and seems concentrating on something. We've been taking seems like thousand of turns and never stop running for even a second which making me so tired more than ever.

     "Yugi, can you contact Yami?" he asked but my respond was a frown. I looked to him confused. The last time I remember when I was here, there's no signal in this place. Moreover, I left my phone in my bedroom. This is one of the fucked up condition.

     "I left my phone in my bedroom! How am I gonna contact him?" I exclaimed also now felt panic like Marik. My mind started to flashing things about the result of 'What if I don't survive?' This thought is starting to give me chills and cold sweat. I swear at that time, my heart beat is spiked. Super Mega spiked.

     Marik looked to me with annoyance burning in his eyes "No! Use mind link, you moron!" I took a deep sigh and bit my lips. Is this another thing that I should know?! "What the fuck is mind link?!" my voice by now is high-pitch, scared and worried washed over myself. This is not what I expected today. From Bakura and Marik telling me about their relationship with their light.

     And now, we're running from this 'chain' sound. Is this even life? Is this hell? Thank you Satan. All hail Satan. Hail him people. "You seriously don't know mind link? You out of every people ?!" I cringed when I hear that. Not because the word, but because how mad Marik is. 

     By this moment, all of my senses are as sharp as knife that can stab through the heart. Here's another plot twist, suddenly the 'chain' sound sounds so big. The next thing we knew, an enormous shadow monster appear before us.

     Our feet immediately stopped in track and I can hear Marik curse all the time with words that not familiar to my ear "Marik, what's wrong? This one is just like any other shadow right?" His grip on mine become tighter "I have to say no Yugi, this one is a lot stronger than us. It's impossible to defeat" My eyes by now is as bigger as a dinner plate.

      Now I understand why were we running from the 'chain' sound. The shadow monster in front of us has two chains crossed infront of his chest, he's flying and no feet and in addition his face seems to be concealed by a mask. What scaring me more is both of his hands held a long black gun and I have no idea what will it do.

      "It's called Grim Reaper" Marik whispered. The Grim Reaper shouted a monster voice and in instant we both are running the opposite way "Yugi! You go find the teleportation! Think of Yami and you'll be by his side and come and help me" after he said that I was shoved to another corridor and he ran to the other way with Grim Reaper on his tail.

      Okay, now what the hell is teleportation?! I closed my eyes and calmed my breath down and trying to get my brain to focus on the task for Marik's safety. I started to wander in the creepy corridor. This corridor is still giving me an eerie feeling and always felt like many eyes watch every move that I make.

     As I was walking, suddenly one of my foot stepped on something slimy. I took a sharp breath and closed my eyes with my mouth repeatedly chanting 'Game Over' under my breath. I finally found a courage to open my eyes. Well one of my eye anyway and I raised up my foot. It's the giant black slime with hands ?!

     I closed my eyes waiting for the attack but surprisingly none came contact to my body. This time, I finally opened both of my eyes very carefully but my peripheral vision left me in confuse. My mouth was opened wide as I saw the shadow monster flee like I'm some kind of scary monster. "Am I that scary?" I asked to myself.

     But, this time I have to thank the shadow monster. If not, I'm not going to notice the green light beaming from an object beside me inside a small room. My eyes moved around me incase another shadow monster will come.

      Once I think it's safe, I walked to the object cautiously 

     'Think about Yami'

      One more question popped up to my mind, how is this thing work?! Is this even teleportation?! This is gambling with bet is life and death. The object is like a jukebox with a bizarre things in it. Curiosity as always got the best of me, my hand took the bizarre object.

     It's golden and shiny, an upside pyramid and an eye on the middle of the object. Suddenly, the upside down pyramid glowing and my eyes were force to close to counter the too bright light coming from the pyramid. The light started to went out and I opened my eyes.

      I blinked my eyes a few time to adjust with the new, place? I looked around the place where I am now and none is familiar. I turned around and my eyes met with 3 enormous windows showing the outside view.

     The outside view isn't very pleasant. The full bright yellow moon dangling in the sky and the sky is strangely red and the city is dark instead of bright of lights and people walking around the street. This city is now hollow, empty, dark.

      I walked closer to the window to have a better view, I'm astonished by this, I touched the window and whispered "What happen to the city?" with my eyes kept wandering and making sure this is not a reality, just a hallucination

Yes yes yes I know, I'm abandoning my babies for a long time. 

Dysthymia is still here and I lost interest to write. That's  normal when it comes anyway. 

Just so you fellas know this will be a slow update since I'm trying to recover from what I've been suffering, I'm so sorry for this.
