John was having a rough time...it was over a month ago that him and Mary had separated...
Sherlock made John and cup of tea John said thanks without looking at Sherlock. Sherlock had been concerned about John ever since the breakup.
"You can't just sit and sulk forever you know" Sherlock said to him with his usual sarcastic tone "I'm not" John denied even though he knew it was true, "ugh stop being such a baby!"
Sherlock was getting annoyed now as he said this he was thinking of telling John something he had been meaning to tell him for a very long time...you see Sherlock was actually glad John and Mary had separated because Sherlock had loved John ever since they met. He never told anyone this but he did have a diary although he tried so hard to convince himself it was a manly journal he knew deep down that he owned a diary, anyway as I was saying sherlock kept a diary he wrote everything in that diary.
He wrote about when he first met John and how he first fell in love with him, he always had a thing for army guys ;)
He wrote about all the cases he solved with John, what John does what John said basically everything was about John, the love of Sherlocks life...he also wrote about the breakup... How John was feeling also about how he felt aswell...
"John look...I...I need to tell you something..."
"What is is Sherlock?"
John seemed intrigued
"You see I...um...I have this jour-"
*knock knock*
Both John and Sherlock were both thinking about who could be knocking at 1:30 am! But Sherlock had other things on his mind...
John opened the door it was Mary...
" oh John I've done some thinking"
"Me too i thi-"
Mary cut John off and stepped inside
"I've done some thinking and I think that is separating was a bad idea...I thought we needed time alone but I was Wrong"
As Mary was explaining what she was doing for the last month Sherlock was getting worried, he was worried that John would take her back
Mary and John were sat down now Sherlock watching silently
Sherlock knew that John would take her back he knew John was completely In love with her...or so he thought
"Mary listen!" John said strongly
Sherlock arose from his thoughts and started to listen again
" look Mary I've done some thinking too, this past month I've been debating wether I should call you or leave it a while or completely forget about you and I've come to a conclusion..."
Sherlock was anxious and Mary was already crying
"I...I think we should..."
This was it...it all came down to this...
"I think...we...um... Look what I'm trying to say it that I don't love you any more"
Sherlocks jaw dropped so did Mary's
They were both shocked
Mary started crying again and quietly said she had to go in an almost very shaky whisper.
The door slammed.
Sherlock was about to say something but John went to his room.
Sherlock was shocked but was also the tiniest bit happy.
