Rainy Day

Zane and Aphmau were happily playing with ponies.
~Zane's POV~
'How should I tell her?' I thought while playing with Pinky cake. I glance up and look at Aphmau, a beautiful look on her face. A smile. It's a rainy day today. I was hoping it would be sunny but, this'll have to do. 'Think Zane think!! You need to confess before Aaron does!!' I mentally scream. The rain is pounding on the roof like walkers in the apocalypse, loud and furious. Aphmau must've noticed my distraught because she walked over and sat next to me. "What's wrong?" She asks me, setting a hand on my shoulder. I feel my face gradually get warmer. 'Am I lucky I have something covering my face, this would be embarrassing' I thought.
~Aphmau's POV~
I noticed that Zane wasn't acting himself today, I mean, he WASNT PLAYING PONIES WITH ME!! So, I walked over and sat by him, placing my hand on his shoulder. "What's wrong?" I asked him. He looked as if he was thinking long and hard about his answer when he mumbled some inaudible words. "What was that?" I ask. "I SAID I CANT TELL YOU!!!" he shouted and stormed out of the door. I sat there stunned as I heard the front door slam shut. Not thinking, I ran after him. "Zane wait!!" I yelled, but he didn't listen. I saw a car zoom around the bend and yelled "Zane!! Look out!!". 'He's refusing to listen' I thought. I ran up to him and pushed him out of the way just in time for me to take the blow. I flew in the air and landed on the cement with a horrifying crack. I heard feet pattering towards me when I lost consciousness.
~Zane's POV~
"No!!! Damn it, damn it, damn it!!" I yelled. I turned to face the driver who happened to be a drunk Aaron. "What the f*ck, Aaron?!?" I shouted. "You just hit Aphmau!!". "That *hic* gurl deserved *hic* it" he slurred. That made my blood boil. I growled and slapped him, turning back to Aph to take her to my brothers' place. Gently, I picked her up and ran as fast as I could to Garroths' house.
~Garroth's POV~
Laurence, Travis and I were just chilling like bros when I heard rapid knocks at the door. "I'll get it" I told them as I rushed towards the door. Swinging it open, I see my baby brother, Zane, soaked to the bone with a bloodied and unconscious Aphmau in his arms. "Come in baby brother. Laurence, Travis get in here!!" I yelled. They rushed in and paled when they saw the scene before them. "Can you help her?" Zane asked. "Please... I know I've never been the nicest to you but since you used to be a top guard, you have to be able to help... please" he looked up at me with teary eyes. "I'll do all I can" I said. "Laurence, take Aph and set her on the couch. Inspect her and find all her injuries. Travis, fix an herbal mixture to help clean her mixtures, go!" I instructed.
~Zane's POV~
After Laurence took Aphmau from my arms I sat in one of the chairs and put my head in my hands, trying to stop the tears from flowing free. I heard someone pull out the chair and pull me into a hug. "Garroth" I choked out. "Will she be okay?" I asked. "Well..." Garroth started. "The blow she had broke some ribs and her right arm. She didn't hit her head as hard as we thought she did so she has a minor concussion. All in all, Aph is okay. She is in a coma but she should be up in about a day." He reassured me. "Thank you. Thank you so much Garroth, it really means a lot.". "You really like her, don't you baby brother?" He asked. "Yeah, I do. She understands me and treats me like a person, not a demon... she doesn't mind that I cobed my face and we can alway mess with eachother." I told him, smiling slightly behind my mask.
~Aphmau's POV (in coma)~
I don't remember how I got here. All I remember is saving Zane... that's it!! I saved Zane from getting hit!! But, if he's there, then... where am I? "You my daughter, are in your mind right now, or , in this case, a coma" I hear a voice say. Looking around, I see no one. "Who's there?" I ask, raising my defense a bit. "Do not worry child, I am Irene and I am here to tell you that, as much as I want my daughter to stay with me, you have someone who truly loves you and needs you on earth." She says. "But, who is that?" I ask. "The person I love didn't seem to pleased with me today..." I say, trailing off at the end. "But my dear, look." She says, showing me a glowing ball. I look and see Zane, sitting by my side, holding my hand, quietly sobbing into my hair. "S-so, he does l-love me? I ask Irene with tears in my eyes. "Yes my darling. You see, he stormed into the street during the storm because he was frustrated. Frustrated that he couldn't tell you his feelings. "Oh..." I reply meekly. "When can I go back?" I ask. "Well my darling, if you'd like, I can send you back now" Irene said, smiling at me. "Oh yes please!!" I exclaimed, jumping up and down like a 5 year-old. "Just lay down, and, when you awake, you shall be back with your true love" she told me.
~Zane's POV~
I'm starting to lose hope. It's been a week and Aph hasn't woken up yet. All of my tears are gone. I've cried and cried hoping everything would be fake and none of this ever happened but, in this world, everything has a reason. 'It's all my fault' I thought to myself. 'If I hadn't been such a coward-' I started until I heard a groan and felt a squeeze on my hand. "Aphmau, you're awake!!" I exclaimed, happy as could be. She giggled then leaned up to my face. "Aph-" I started until I got cut off by her lips on mine. Slowly, she wrapped her arms around my neck as I wrapped my arms around her waist.
~No ones POV~
"I love you" Aphmau says. "I- i love you too" Zane says nervously. "In all honesty, I thought I was going to lose you. You had me so worried" "Well, don't you worry Zane, I'm never leaving you, ever again" "And anyways, look what came out of this, we have our story, when we got together on this Rainy Day."
