Alexs POV.

It was Monday. ugh, Monday meant school. And school meant treacherous people that hated me.

I was wearing a slightly baggy overshirt with black skinny jeans.I abused my wavy hair with my straightener to make it look pretty. I added only a light layer of mascara to my long lashes for my makeup today. I put on six inch wedges to make show people, im fucking short. threw on a large beanie to finish off my look. Im guessing im pretty confident today to be wearing this type of stuff.

When its time to walk to school me and Quinn would meet up at the store across the road,'The Hot Spot'. After that we'd walk to the dairy Queen on the way to the high school and pick up our lunch. Dairy Queen was only one block away CCHS so once we were at Dairy Queen we really didnt have to walk far.

I open Shelbys bedroom to tell her I'd be leaving.

"Shelbs I'm leaving." I announced.

"Okay. Quinn should already be there." she replied as I was tripping down the hallway.

I attempt to walk in a fast pace to The Hot Spot. Every six steps I would have a mini trip as I would almost face plant.

Once I actually got to The Hot Spot, I open the door to see my sister sitting next to someone.

"Quinn?" I asked nervously,"is that?"

"Yes it is." she replied.

Quinns POV.

I woke up at 5:21am. Why the hell was I up this early?

When I got up, I take a shower like every morning and get ready for school. Soon, I ruffled my wavy hair to give it a messy sorta look as I put on my rainbow cat hat. I dash on my makeup, to make my face look a bit better, and to boost my self esteem. My outfit for today was a black Tshirt, ripped blue jeans, and patterned flats. An everyday outfit of Quinn.

It was 6:53 when I was done getting ready. I pound on Shelbys door to alarm her that I'm leaving.

"Shelbs I'm leaving!" I yelled.

"Okay be safe. " Shelby mumbled quietly.

I jogged out of the house with my bag on my bag. Slowing me down a bit, I had my text books in my bag. It'll usually take me 2 minutes to casually walk across the street, but this time it took me 6 minutes.

Finally, I made it across the street as I enter THS. I sat down on a tall stool resting my feet. My house was only 10ft away from THS yet it still hurts me.

A familiar teenage boy comes and sits next to me.

"Hey can I sit here?" he asked.

Tyler. It was Tyler.

"T-T-Tyler?" I stuttered.

"Quinn? I didnt know you lived in Fallon!" Tyler said in shock,"I'm just enrolling into CCHS!"

We both chitchatted, and I found out he had the same homeroom as me and Alex! Woot!

I may be crushing on Tyler, but that wont let me ruin our friendship. Who wouldn't secretly crush on a 17 year old cutie? Tyler meant too much to me to lose.

*****timeskip to lunch****

I was eating lunch alone, while Tyler and Alex ate together right behind me. Jealousy was getting the best of me.

It looked like Alex and Tyler were getting along so well, together in real life. Im so happy for my sister, but she was loving the guy I loved, and it hurt.

'He'll never love you Quinn. Let him go.' The voices in my head echoed.

Maybe those voices were right, because the next 7 words shattered my heart.
