Future me here: Hi this series is retired and was written a very long time ago. I wrote this book and series when I was young. Fair warning for grammar and spelling and the like. Enjoy!
7/15/2024: Well looks like I'm back and editing. Enjoy.
——————————————————————-Hi, my name is Airis Black, and I am an abused omega. My life wasn't always this way. My parents, brave warriors of our pack, died while protecting our former Alpha. He loved me like his own, but three years after my parents' tragic death, he passed away too, leaving his son, Urban Hann, in charge. Urban is nothing like his father. He is cruel, and he beats me relentlessly. I hate him with every fiber of my being.
Today started like any other day, filled with fear and the constant ache from old wounds. As I was cleaning the kitchen, I heard Alpha Urban's thunderous voice echo through the pack house. The sound of his voice made my stomach twist in knots, and I knew that the day was about to take a turn for the worse.
"AIRIS, GET YOUR FUCKING ASS DOWN HERE!"
I flinched, dropping the dish I was holding. It shattered on the floor, shards of porcelain scattering across the tiles. Panic set in as I realized I had no time to clean it up. I rushed up the stairs, my heart pounding in my chest, and bowed at Urban's feet, my hands trembling.
"Yes, Alpha," I said, panting from climbing six flights of stairs. My legs felt like jelly, both from the exertion and from the fear that coursed through me.
He sneered at me, his eyes filled with disdain. "I need you to get this place spotless for our guests. They are the Alpha and his entourage from the Moon Red Pack. You know, the largest pack in the world."
My eyes widened in shock. The Moon Red Pack was legendary. Tales of their power and influence had reached even our small pack. They were known for their strength, their numbers, and their Alpha's fairness. But they were also known for their ruthlessness towards those who wronged them.
"Well, what are you waiting for? Get to work!" he barked, his voice snapping me out of my thoughts.
I scrambled to my feet and hurried off to prepare the house. I cleaned every room, polished the floors, and made sure everything was perfect. Each task was performed with meticulous care, driven by the fear of what would happen if anything was out of place. The hours slipped by in a blur of scrubbing, dusting, and organizing.
As the sun set, the pack house gleamed, ready for our distinguished guests. My body ached from the hard labor, but there was no time to rest. I knew that even the smallest mistake could lead to another beating.
Later that night, chaos erupted.
"They're here! Everyone, take your positions!" Alpha Urban bellowed. The tension in the air was palpable as we prepared to greet our esteemed guests. Pack members scurried to their assigned spots, their faces pale with apprehension.
I tried to keep out of sight, knowing that any mistake would earn me another beating. As I was cleaning the last corner of the living room, the front doors burst open. A powerful scent of pine and rain filled the room, and I felt an unfamiliar warmth spread through me. My heart raced as I looked up and saw him.
The man standing in the doorway had black hair and striking golden eyes. He was tall, with an aura of authority and strength that seemed to fill the room. His gaze locked onto mine, and I felt a jolt of recognition. "Mate," a voice in my head whispered.
The man stormed into the house, his expression shifting from curiosity to fury as he looked at me. I whimpered, feeling a mix of fear and hope.
"Hello, Alpha Theo. Welcome to the Willow Tree Pack. My name is Alpha Urban—"
