(A/n: btw reader started earlier than Canada so reader-chan is like earlier by at least 40 minutes)

Your POV

I went to the park and I saw a envelope tied to the branches with (f/c) ribbons. That must be it! I ran to get it and jumped as high as I could to reach the envelope and finally after a few jumps I reached it and grabbed it.

Dear (Y/n),

Remember the time when we went to this park and I handed you your favorite Ice cream, and how everything was quiet until Kumajiro started talking. Well I honestly wanted to compliment you... I always want to compliment you, though I guess I'm too shy to do it. You looked beautiful.. well technically you always are. I love the way you smile ,and how I can tell it's a real or fake smile. Because usually your fake smiles don't come with the sparkles in your eyes like when it's your real one.

I love how your hair sways in the wind when you walk, and when you turn around and look at me like I'm the only person in the world. My heart just keeps skipping a beat, you always pay attention to me... and I don't understand how you have the ability to pay attention to me when other people think I'm invisible. You don't just pay attention to me you make me feel worthy of love and care and attention.

I keep saying Thank you.. but maple. I don't think I can't ever stop saying thank you to you... you've done so much to me than you know.

Now please go to the place where we star gazed there's another letter waiting for you under one if the trees.

I'm probably blushing right now but I couldn't help it...Everything he said in this letter from knowing how to tell my smiles are fake or real and him thanking me for noticing him all the time. To be honest I just want to go find Matthew and confess to him right then and there! But I needed to find the next letter. I put the letter in my bag and went off to where we star gazed.

Canada's POV

I was at the forests with Kumajiro looking everywhere for an envelope, then I realized it must've been in where we sat down together under one of the trees. I looked at the trees as I passed them and finally found that exact tree. I moved the fallen leaves away from under the tree and there was an envelope with a Maple leaf stamp on it. I grabbed it and opened it as soon as I saw it.

Dear Matthew,

Remember the time we sat here talking about Autumn?
You told me it was also your favorite season.
What surprised me was when you told me that me coming into your life was a great moment.
What also surprised me was when you said it without hesitation.

I wouldn't think of myself as someone special to anyone at all,
I didn't really have any real friends, but when you came along everything changed.
When we became friends I got to know you better,
And you did something to my heart... it's like you captured it.

I hoped it would past since I've never felt anything like that before,
But it only grew stronger each passing day I was with you.
It was both a frustration and a relief that I fell for someone like you.
I don't know how to confess... but I will soon.

As usual my cheeks where probably as red as Spain tomatoes maybe even redder. My mind still can't process that we are 'both' in the process of confessing to each other. I kept thinking of how I was going to confess to her when this treasure hunt for letters finally end. What am I going to even say? Heck how do I start?

I gave a sight.. I was getting anxious and scared. Even though I know we probably have the same feelings for each other which is probably why she made these letters, I still couldn't shake the feeling of failure..

"Can I reaaddd it.." I heard Kumajiro whine.

"N-no.. okay." I said and tucked the letters in my pockets. I quickly went to where we star gazed carrying Kumajiro.

I was at the place where me and Mattie had stargazed, I looked around for some nearby trees and I saw the letter tied up to it. I jumped and jumped till I reached the letter. I didn't realize this whole thing would be this tiring, I opened the letter and started to read it.

Dear (Y/n),

Remember when we sat here to star gaze? I can't help but tell you how beautiful you looked looking up the stars, the way your eyes would sparkle with amazement in the scenery up above. It's also true that those stars aren't as beautiful as your heart, In fact all those stars combined together wouldn't be a match as to how much I love you.

And yes...

I love you.

I always have.

Even saying that in a letter is already hard enough... I don't know how to tell you in real life.

So now I'm here with these letters for you this is the 4th letter and there is one more waiting for you in the ice rink.

"I love you too Matthew Williams... I love you too.." I said out loud.. I wanted this treasure hunt to be done already, so as quickly as possible I went to the ice rinks.
