The dark musk of my cell hung in the air thick and heavy, every ragged breath a struggle to get into my lungs, my arms were raised over my head and when I tried to move them the ice cold metal bands around my wrists clattered. I whimpered softly and fearfully when I heard a clatter at the door and a female guard walked in with dull lightweight armour, she crouched down and rested the plastic tray she had on the ground. It had a delicious smelling stir fry in a plastic bowl still steaming hot, she cautiously unshackled me. "Such a gorgeous creature its a shame to keep you locked up like this" I looked up her after eating half of the stir fry, I could tell it's been a while since I last ate by now, "creature?" she nodded and rubbed my tail. "Half wolf half human a beautiful combination fierce and loyal obedient and intelligent what more could we ask for?" I murred softly surprised by the fact I could feel a tail suddenly, then kept eating the stir-fry she continued to pet me. "Do you have a name wolf?" I looked at her "y-yes I'm Kairu" she smiled softly. "A beautiful name too" "what is in this? It's delicious." she smiled almost cruelly. "Well, there's rice, peppers. soya sauce, Kredain the spicy white orbs, oh and the meat is raw human flesh off the dead soldiers" I looked at her suspiciously then looked down ashamed of what I just ate when I felt the urge to keep eating clearly my inner wolf wanted more. I let my instincts take over and finished eating, the lady took my bowl and the tray too before she left, leaving me unchained and confused. I looked around "I doubt the door is unlocked and I need to get out" I checked the door anyway and found it unlocked to my surprise. My tail curled around my waist as I slowly navigated the long dark hallway that slightly smelled of blood. Every nerve in my body was screaming out to just go back, but I couldn't. not to that cell, not back there.
