*Jake P.O.V*

"Hey babe, wanna hang out tonight?" Amanda slurred.

I didn't hear what she was saying because I was far too busy with something. Watching Elliot talking to Hayley. I don't even know why I'm so angry watching them talk. There's this kind of weird feeling that I can't get off.
I pushed Amanda off my lap and got up from my seat. I can't stand to watch what was infront of me anymore, I walked away.

"Hey baby, where are you going?" Amanda asked following me.

"Away from you!" I exclaimed. She was so annoying. Why can't she just leave me alone?

"Why? Do you not like me? Aren't we a thing?" she asked, her eyes teary.

"We were never a thing. It was just a one-night stand with you. Go find your manwhore not me." I said annoyed.

She just cried and ran away. Typical girls.
Then I received a call. Looking at the caller ID, I immediately picked up the phone.

"Hello? Is this Jake Henderson?"

"Yes, may I know what happened?"

"Sarah forgot to bring her asthma inhaler and while she was having Physical Education, she fainted...."

"What!?" I screeched.

"I'm coming over right now, please let her be okay." I said and hanged up. I immediately drove my car in Sarah's school.

Once I reached her school, I saw Sarah lying on the bed. She opened her eyes as I ran over to her.

"Are you okay Sarah? Are you hurt? Anywhere uncomfortable?" I asked, worried.

"It's okay Jakeyy, I'm alright." she said gleefully.

"Okay Sarah, let's get you home." I said while picking her up from the bed.

"Uhh, I'm just gonna bring Sarah home today, she needs to rest." I stated.

The teacher in-charge just nodded her head.

"Why did you forget to bring your inhaler? You know something bad could've happened!" I scolded her sternly.

"I'm sorry Jakeyy , it won't happen again." She said apologetically

*At home*

"Okay Sarah you are just going to get some rest while I make some chicken soup for you ok?" I asked more like a statement

I saw her nod before walking out the room to the kitchen.

Just then, I heard the door open and Mum walked in. I dint even bother acknowledged by her.

She cleared her throat and said ,"Jake, I want you and Sarah to move in with me and James. "

Well, you see, both my parents were having a lot of stress at work and one day they come home and fought and it didn't end well. My mom ended up going to the pub and she met James and yes, she cheated on my dad. My dad then suffered from depression due to the amount of stress he had and Mom cheating on him. In the end, he took his own life. Sarah is just my half Sister, her Father is James. But I treat her nice like she's my own Sister though not exactly . James knows I hate him cause he's partly the reason why Dad is dead. That's why he moved out into his own house . You must be wondering why isn't Sarah with him... Well he goes overseas most of the time because of his job but  he quit and is moving back and wants us to move in with him.

"How Long has it been since Dad suicided!? It's been barely a month! And You want me to move in with your secret lover!? Well, that's not gonna happen!" I spit out.

"You have no choice Jake cause if you don't move in with us, I'm gonna cut off all your money supply and beside your not even legal to stay here on your own without a Guardian !" She threatened .

"Don't make me hate you even more than I do now," I muttered.

"I don't get why You hate me so much--"

I cut her off before she could finish her sentence," Don't act dumb, you killed my dad a.k.a Your Husband . Of course I would hate you!"

She stayed silent for a while and decided to speak up," I just wanna let you know that we're moving tomorrow. Pack your stuff and get ready by 6. And if you're thinking about not going with us, think about where you're going to get money from."

I thought about her words, working alone doesn't help me out with my school fees. They cost much more than what I earn. Guess I have no choice but to move in with them.......

I know it's been so long since I updated but I have good and bad news.
Good news is I'm currently having my holidays and I will update more often.
Bad news is I've not much confidence in writing this book. Please help me share, comment and vote to help me get inspiration and confidence in continuing to write this book!
