The Search For Paradise

chapter 1

So I didn't think I would be writng another story this soon. But I realised that I wasn't sure how to continue my other story! What I've decided to do is write this story, see how it goes and then when this story has come to an end I will go back and edit, rewrite, ect. I've got some ideas for a story that I think will flow better! The only thing is i don't have many people supporting me. So please if you've read my other story but you're not following, could you maybe give me a follow? thankyou everyone. Well here's the new story!

Living in one of the largest Urban areas in America seems like such a luxury, but in reality not all of it is just swimming at the beach or shopping at the mall.

This place is different than what most people expect, which would most likely be that all of us shop and party everyday!

Actually like every other human being on this earth we have lives outside of going to party's. I really love where I live, although there are some bad times here and there, it is good.

Most of the time we are underestimated by the rest of the world and even the rest of our own country! Sometimes even overestimated, and that sucks. Other than that, Miami is a pretty cool place!

"Chloe check this out! Jeremy is flirting with Beccky again!" Mary said glancing over in the distance, I followed her eye-line to see Jeremy and Beccky.

"oh my god" I said almost in stiches. He tries way too hard with her.

"She is so not interested in his 'flirting' skills" Mary chuckled.

Brad is standing next to Jeremy with his lovely girlfriend, Kara. They are literally the cutest couple I've ever met! They've been together for one year now and all of us think they are absolutely adorable!

So these are my best friends Mary, Jeremy and Brad. We've known each other since kindergarten and have been close ever since! Mary is basically the shy one in the group, where as Jeremy and I are the confident ones I guess. Brad is sort in the middle, he has stage fright and is a bit socially awkward. But we don't mind, that's what makes us all so close.

"You guys ruined it for me, again!" Jeremy complained.

"I don't think it was us that ruined your 'chances'" Mary mumbled.

Brad and I giggled slightly, whilst Kara shook her head with a cheeky grin plastered to her face.

"Ugh why do I even bother? Beccky shows me more faith than you guys!" Jeremy says as he walked away. By this time all of us clutching our stomachs, we were laughing so much it was started to hurt but we couldn't stop.

I could see Jeremy looking us angrily as he leaned against the brick wall. We all spun our heads around to eye an angry Jeremy. All I can say is, bad idea.

As soon as we all looked at him, without warning, we were all hit in the face with water balloons! Mary and I gasped in pure shock as we stood up drenched in water. What did we do to deserve water ball- ohh.

"Well at least it wasn't a brick like last time" Brad said casually.

"Wait... what?!" I asked completely shocked.

"Yeah, um well last time this happened it was just the two of us" he trailed off gesturing to himself and Jeremy.

"Then he started flirting with you-know-who and I laughed way too much!" he paused for a second but continued.

"Next thing I knew a brick was aiming for my face. Luckily i dodged it but man, he's vicious!"

Brad shuddered at the memory but managed to laugh a long with us about Jeremy's vicious side. I noticed some sort of movement behind us but ignored it. I heard a little shriek and a slapping sound, okay i wasn't ignoring this. I faced what ever it was behind me, I was shocked when I saw Jeremy kissing Beccky. But I laughed at how she was trying to escape by slapping him.

I knudged Mary and nodded towards the two 'love birds'. As soon as she saw them we both started laughing, a lot. Beccky eventually got free from his strong grip and she ran like there was no tomorrow, I don't know if she was blushing or if her face was red because she was struggling but her face was red.

Now although Jeremy was our best friend and we wanted to help him, he was horrible at flirting. I mean he was reasonably cute and all but when it comes to being hot and flirtatious, he's not the guy.

"What happened? I heard you two laughing, again." Brad asked rolling his eyes.

"You... should've seen.... oh my god" I tried to say during fits of laughter.

"What she's trying to say is, Jeremy kissed Beccky and oh my god it was hilarious! She tried getting out from his grip but she couldn't! Then she ran away." Mary said calmly but as soon as we looked at each other, she bursted out laughing a long with me.

"Her face was priceless!" I managed to say while laughing. Brad scoffed and looked towards Jeremy who was now by himself.

"Aww he's by himself" Kara said looking up at Brad, damn I forgot she was here. We all looked at her a little confused.

"What?" She asked inocently looking around at us all. "Shouldn't we talk to him or comfort him? I mean you guys are his best friends!"

"She's right guys" I said in defeat, wait why was I defeated? Before we could move Jeremy walked up to us with a small smile. I did feel bad for him because he has been rejected by the girl of his dreams so many times.

"Let's go guys, come on" Jeremy says with a sad sigh. We all walked with him out of the park area and towards the department store.
