He was leaning against the door, with his arms crossed and lips curved into a slight smile. He was watching, no, admiring the person he fell head over heels for. This was one of those thousand reasons why he fell for the said person. Well, he just can’t help it. Whenever he got to look into this person’s eyes, he just found himself fell harder, deeper, and the feeling just got a lot much stronger. He knew it himself, that the way he was staring was really distracting—oh even more, creepy. But he could care less, because the sight in front of him was nothing less or more than beautiful.

There sat a man, his fingers were dancing on the chords of the piano in front of him. The sound the thing made was roaming around the room, singing its own voice, melting every hearts it could reach. The afternoon beam found its way to the room through the large window, like a cinema screen to the man who was playing the piano. Flying dusts captured by the sunbeams were only making the scenery even dreamier.

His back was facing the door, in which where Kris was standing right then. The room has a wall-full mirror, so Kris can still see his lover’s side profile. This time, a grin painted on his face. Knowing that his lover wasn’t aware of his presence yet, he quietly moved his feet towards the man—his man.  He was halfway there, when Yixing’s finger stopped playing their magic to look up to where Kris was.

“Why did you stop?”  There was a thick frown on Kris’ face.

“Why? Sorry to say, but you are the distraction.” The latter teased playfully.

Kris sighed as he rolled his eyes and took a chair beside the piano and sat on it. He had his left elbow on the piano, hand cupping his cheek while his right hand’s fingers was tapping the solid wood. Yixing’s hands were no longer on the piano, he had them on the side of his body. Yixing had this playful look; eyebrows up, ankles drawing circles, and body slightly leaning forward. “What?” Kris asked, sounds a little bit too ignorant as he was trying hard not to jump on Yixing and squish him to death. Instead of giving the older an answer, he tilted his head to the side and slightly moved his shoulders up. “Don’t try to act cute. You’re not cute.” Kris removed his hands away from the piano, looking away from his lover’s playful gaze.

“Stop looking at me like that. It’s irritating.” Kris rolled his eyes. Again. Yixing pouted. His ankles stopped moving and his shoulders fell. Kris took them as the sign of giving up. “I want to hear you sing..” Yixing let out a murmur, loud enough for Kris to hear, yet he wasn’t expecting him to hear though. There was a moment of gentle pause when Kris finally opened his mouth to speak. “But you play the piano.” He said as he stood up, taking a seat next to Yixing and smiled. “Okay. Call You Mine?” There was a spark of joy and plea in Yixing’s eyes as he smiled back.  No need to wait for answer, he already had the piano under his spell.

“Can I call you my own and can I call you my lover,
Call you my one and only Lay~”
Yixing let out a shy chuckle at his boyfriend’s creative—no, silliness without ruining the song. Kris smiled as he continued to sing like a professional. “Can I call you my everything, call you my baby.
You’re the only one who runs my world~” Yixing finishes with one last note and they both clapped like they were the audience. “I was great, wasn’t I?” Kris elbowed the pianist playfully and the latter just made a face. “You did good.” Kris complimented. “I know.” Yixing said, cockily. “Oh c’mon.” Kris pouted like he was the cutest out of the two when the fact, he was just being disgusting. But unfortunately, Yixing thought that was cute. He couldn’t help but gave the pouting lips a peck before he stood up and walked towards the window. The pout soon replaced by a grin after that quick peck Yixing gave. With a sly grin on, Kris stood up and followed the steps to where his boyfriend was.

Kris slid his arms around Yixing’s slim waist, and rested his chin on top of his lover’s right shoulder. Yixing’s hands that were on his sides had moved to where Kris’ hands were. He laced their fingers together, not wanting to let go. It was beautiful, the moment was anything to die for.

“I love y—” “I love you too.”  Yixing whispered, and Kris knew that was coming, so he answered at the very next mili second. “Mine. You’re mine.” Kris said possessively as he nuzzles his face on the crook of his boyfriend’s neck. “Stop it, that tickles.” Yixing laughed as he slipped his right hand away from Kris’ to stop Kris’ ticklish nuzzling head. When Kris finally stopped, he started to swing their body to the sides playfully and hummed a children song that made Yixing laughed at his boyfriend’s childishness.

They kept on playing like that until the sun settled. There was no rush, no loud noises, and no distraction. There were just them, just the two of them, with peace, a heart touching one. They had all the time in the world.
