Jesus Won My Heart

*Flashback*

Lauren got onto bed since it's 8:30 and tomorrow is her first day of being a senior. She thought she heard a strange sound... Lauren quickly got downstairs, wondering what's going on.

"Mum? What's going on?"

"Mummy? Where are you?" 

*I saw a trail of blood that leads towards the kitchen*

"D-Dad?! What had gotten into you?!" Lauren said with tears streaming down my face.

*Dad got scared and he ran towards the front door*

"Dad? Where are you going?!"

*Dad got outside and RAN*

Lauren quickly called 9-1-1 and the ambulance came right on time. 

*End of Flashback*

*Lauren's POV*

(8 years later...)

"Auntie! I'm home!" I said as I started to look for my Aunt.

"Oh, darling! You're home!" Auntie Sophia said with tears streaming down her face, hugging me and kissing me.

Dear Diary,

It had been only 8 years since my Dad thought it'd be safe for us if he left us alone by ourselves forever. I had been bullied most of the time after when Dad left, people were calling me "stupid" or even "retarted"! I can't believe those horrible people would say that to me! What did I do to prove them that I'm wrong? Luckily Auntie talked to me when I got back from school, she used to be bullied when she was like my age and she even talked about God. Who's this 'God' anyway?

"Auntie, who's God?" I asked, wanting to know more about Him.

"Oh, sweetie! I'm glad you asked me that! Well, God is our Heavenly Father! He created the whole universe! On Genesis 1:1 it said, 'In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth.'!"

"How can I be a.. you know, a Christian?"

"You just have to put your faith and love towards Him! He'll be like your best friend, he loves you and he trust you! Just read the Bible if you'd have to!" Auntie said, smiling.

"Thanks for everything Auntie.. I reckon I should be going to bed." I said, yawning as I walked upstairs to my bedroom.

"No problem sweetheart!"

~the next morning~

*I went towards my locker, grabbed my Biology book and closed it*

"Hey Lauren!" my best friend, Harry Styles said, as he gave me a friendly hug.  

"Oh, hey Harry! It's nice to see you again! How's your Health class so far?"  

"It's okay I guess..." Harry said, with a chuckle.  

*RINGG!!*  

"Well, I better go! I'll see you at lunch?" I said, walking towards my Biology class.  

"Wait, before you go, would you like to hang out with me sometimes tomorrow after school?"  

"Sure! That'll be lovely! Bye!"  

"Bye Lauren!" I heard Harry said in the background, waving good-bye.  

~at lunch~  

"Hey Brandon!" I said, giving him a hug as I sat down next to him.  

"Hey Lauren, how're you?"   

"Not too great.. Biology is hard!" I said, doing the puppy-dog face look.  

"Awe, you're so cute.." Brandon said, giving me a wink.  

"No, you're so cute!" I said, giggling as I pressed my lip against Brandon's.  

"Awe!!" Everybody said, as they took pictures.  

*I saw Harry at the corner of my eye*

"Hm.. I wonder what's wrong with Harry?" I thought to myself as I started playing with my fork of mashed potatoes.  

~after school~    

"Hey Lauren! How's school been?" I heard Auntie said, sitting down watching the '700 Club'.

"Good! What're you watching?"

"Oh, it's called the '700 Club' it's a pretty ace show! Wanna watch it with me?"

"Nah, I got homework to do.." I said, going upstairs to my bedroom.

"Okay dear, have fun!"

(2 hours later...)

"Auntie, I'm going to take a shower, are you okay by yourself down there?"

"Yep! Everything's okay sweetie, thank you! Oh, and make sure you turn your music down, okay? Because you know that your Auntie's hard-of-hearing.."

"Okay Auntie! I promise.. Good night, I love you!" I said, laughing (in a good way).

"I love you too Lauren!" Auntie said, with a smile.

*I went to the bathroom, and I turned the faucet to warm*

(10 minutes later...)

*I turned off my Little Mix music, putted on my pajamas, and went to bed*
