Lisbon's POV
In one moment, I realised that everything that seems so close to me,it has never been further. Everything that I loved slowly is fading away. I'm loosing everything I loved and now... I keep asking myself if that all was my mistake.
I'm screaming, dying inside. It's been 6 months since Jane left. I'm breaking inside,but I can't let people to see it. Smiling, I came in CBI looking at my team. Wayne Rigsby, Grace Van Pelt,Kimball Cho and Patrick Ja... No.. Not him... I can't wake up and not to think about him. After he killed Red John... He just disappeared.
I wish I could tell him that I love him... So much...
"Hey,boss!" Van Pelt called me.
"Hey,Grace,what's up?"
"I think I know where Jane is."
"What!? Really? Where!?"
I can't believe. My Jane... He's okay. He's fine...
"Let's go! What are we waiting?" I said running from CBI and sitting in my car.
The road to his house was long. I thought about what should I do.. Gosh,I love him so much.
I knocked at the door and woman with long blonde hair opened.
"Hello?" She said.
"Hi,I'm Agent Teresa Lisbon. Is Patrick Jane here?" I asked.
"Yeah.. He's here... Honey! Some agent is looking for you."
Honey?
"Oh my God. Teresa!" Jane said hugging me. "What are you doing here? Oh my... It's been long time since I saw you. Come in!"
"No. Can we take a walk? I want to tell you something." I said blushing.
"Sure. Anna,I'm going out. I'll be back soon." He said and kissed her.
That must be his girlfriend... Oh hell...
"How are you?" I asked as we sat in the park.
"I'm fine. Oh,I missed you so much. What about you? Still working with CBI?"
"Yeah." I smiled. "It's so different without you there. It's too quiet there now."
He laughed little.
"What are you doing here?"
"I came to see you." I admitted.
"To see me?"
"Yea'.. There's something I wanted to tell you,but.. It's not important now." I said looking away.
"No,no... Tell me."
"Not important. I just missed you..."
"Teresa..."
My heart skipped when he called me Teresa.
"Please tell me." He said looking at me with his ocean blue eyes.
"I... I just wanted to say that... This is going to be hard." I laughed little and I could see he smiled too.
Gosh,I missed that smile.
After long pause,I finally said it.
"I love you,Jane." I whispered
"I love you too,but what did you wanted to tell me?" He asked.
"That. That's what I wanted to say."
He looked at me not knowing what to say.
"I'm going insane waiting for you to say something." I laughed.
"Oh. Well... I'm surprised..."
I put my hands on his cheeks and looked him in the eyes.
"I hope you're happy with your new life. I'm sorry for this. I had to say it. It's been killing me inside. Take care of yourself,please. Goodbye. " I whispered,turning around and leaving.
No words escaped from his mouth.
I sat in my car. Tears ran down my face.
"Maybe someday... You and me... Again..."
