The crash was so bad that Lanai did die in it. She held her children in her arms one last time then told me to separate them so Ben couldn't find them. So I took the girl back to her father in Naboo, he promised to keep the child safe. Then we decided that the boy would stay on the base with me and the resistance but then something amazing happened as I held her child and looked at her body on last time to say goodbye.
