It's been at least a year since I lost my parents from the earthquake caused by The San Andreas Fault. My family and I were driving out of California, we were trying to get out of the 'danger zone' of the earthquakes and tsunamis. We were passing by a gas station when the ground started to shake. I remember my sister screaming and crying for her blanky. Father was driving while mother was trying to calm my frantic baby sister, and my brother was trying to help me from my asthma attack. The ground underneath us started to crack, you could probably here it from miles away honestly. Melody and I are the only ones that got out before the car fell through the chasm. I couldn't save them, no matter what I tried... I couldn't save them. Melody would be left an orphan without parents to raise her, and I was left with the agonizing realization of... Watching my parents and brother die.
