I had gotten to the venue early to help my brother set up. My brother was practically finished when I got there, all I did was check headphones for dead batteries and chat with him and the DJs while we waited to start. The Silent Disco was to start a half hour prior to the first arrivals but knowing Atlanta people no one wants to be the first to an event.

So it was just my brother, the DJs, their pose and my crew until the first hour passed. My crew consisted of Jason, Leo, and Lacey. No Melody, thank goodness, she'd be a totally buzzkill at this event especially seeing as she's so closed minded to the idea of a headphone party.

My dance girls Samantha, Latasha, and Bridget came in with the majority of the guests.

At first no one really danced and if they did they stuck to whatever corner of the room their crew was in. A lot if wallflowers and people just making the scene seem so chill. The DJs and host saw this and took the time to take advantage of competing with each other and putting line dances on. Switching from station to station I heard that one DJ was playing "Wobble Baby(hey Big Girl)" and the other was playing "The Cupid Shuffle". I was rooting for Cupid while Lacey was doing the wobble dance that I never really tried to learn. It was her and some girl she grabbed that were close to the main dance space and I had so people dancing the shuffle with me. That warmed everyone up next thing you know there was barley any room that wasn't filled with a wild dancing person.

Maybe at the second or third hour of the event the entire B5 crew walked in. I was beyond excited. I didn't see them come in because I was so into the music but when Kelly walked in front me both of our face lit with cheeky grins, we hug and I wave at the other boys. I take off my headphones and notice they don't have any.

"Where are your headphones?" I ask Dustin as I am now surrounded by them. He just shrugs and that's when I lead him and his bros back to the front where the container of headphones are. No one is manning the front at this moment I assume that my brother is either advertising the free party outside the door or checking on the DJs. I take the initiative to do the job my brother has left unoccupied by handing all the boys and anyone else coming through the door a pair of headphones and a tutorial. It's not complicated I just want them going blindly into the party thinking crazy things like you have to get a different pair of headphones to listen to the other DJ or something. As I was informing the boys I saw the skeptical look Dustin was giving me, Kelly was impressed and the rest were astonished and amazed by the dual station headphones the atmosphere. I told them to go on without me as I held down the fort and introduce some more people to the awesomeness that is a SilentDisco. All but Kelly left my side.

I've always been a fan of B5 and I've always been Team Kelly. I've talked to him in person once and text him constantly so why is it that the second time we come face to face I act all shy and awkward? Maybe it was because of the way we flirted. This time around I know he's not just being nice, but he's actually taken an interest in me. Showing me the feelings that I only dreamed he would. Maybe I'm freezing up so bad because my dream is becoming reality.

...

"You should go dance," I say shyly after about ten minutes of avoiding making real eye contact with him.

"What?" he asks as he removes the headphones from the ear closest to me.

"Go dance," I repeat.

"I'm good," he nods.

"What, you don't like it?" I tease.

He just smiles.

After I entertain a few more newcomers my brother finally comes back in the venue. As I suspected, he was a little alarmed to see me working the door knowing that someone else was suppose to be handing out the headphones. He came back quickly with a person to replace me, saying something about a miscommunication.

Without a second thought I grabbed Kelly and headed back to where most of the people were dancing.

...

Dancing is my reason for living and I couldn't care less who I ended up dancing with as long as I was dancing I lost all my friends in the crowd and was dancing with some really nice fun loving people at the moment. The volume on my headphones cranked to the max just letting the music take over. I bumped into people every once in a while when I wasn't paying much attention but it was no biggie in this environment.

I saw Dustin having fun, and Bryan was close by cheesed out, apparently excited.

Jason found me and danced with me. He was easy to dance with, and I was just realizing that. We've danced before together, like at the club when we were celebrating going on tour last Wednesday. When I thought of how in-sync we were I believed it was lucky and weird coincidence but this time around I see that there's been more occasion then just these recent ventures that made me realize that Jason is my favorite dance partner. A smile grew as this revelation began to bloom. A questioning grimace formed on Jason's face, I guess the spout of my smile did look strange. I just nodded my head informing him to disregard my weirdness.

The next song the DJ we were listening to was a slow one but a good one, an old favorite of mine, Fantasia "When I See You". I admit it caught me off-guard, the DJ was trying to set more relaxed atmosphere for his listeners and the host was encouraging everyone to partner up. He didn't really need to say much though the music was already persuading me to get closer to my partner and I know there'd be no objection on Jason's part.

My back was to his chest for most of the song, not in a grinding raunchy way but you know how couples do, swaying back and forth with his arms wrapped around my waste. There was a point when my back wasn't toward him and I guess my emotions and the song we getting too mixed up and I almost kissed him, he hadn't noticed or at least I hope he hadn't. I righted myself and let the next song "Nothing in this World" by Keke Wyatt loosen the thoughts. I didn't need to think. Just Dance, Elisha, was the only thing I needed to think.
