Trillie's POV
I groggily woke up and looked around to see where I was. "Why the hell am I in a fort?" I whispered. I looked around and saw Mackenzie passed out near the door and the entire band/crew (including Connor) passed out. My mind put the pieces together and I rolled my eyes.
I snuck out as quietly as possible and went into my room. My phone buzzed and I got a text from an unkown number.
Unknown: Where were you last night? - Zack
Me: Our entire band/crew ended up crashing in Kinza's/Connor's room :P
Unknown: Oh :P I'll swing by your room later and we can head out
Me: Cool. See you then.
I saved the number as Zack and went to freshen up. I quickly showered and applied a thin layer of eye liner and lip gloss. I ran a brush through my hair while singing Letterbomb softly and rummaging my make-up bag for concealer.
I picked out a grey T-Shirt, faded blue jeans and some black flats. I made sure that I had my phone and wallet with me before hearing a whisper that sounded like, "Are you ready yet?" I held back a giggle and bit my lip, taking a breath.
I opened the door and smiled at him."Hi," I said quietly. I closed the door and he gave me a flower. "It's for you." "Thanks." We get into the elevator and the silence began.
"So, where are you from?" he asked. "I'm from Utah, but went to California for College and I currently live alone in Michigan." "Oh, that's cool. What did you major in?" "I got my Bachelor's in Media Studies and Production but my Master's in Business and Management."
The elevator dinged and we got out and we walked into the streets of Quebec. We continued walking and I glanced down to see his hand so close to mine, almost afraid to touch it. I slowly moved it and grabbed his hand.
I smiled softly while biting my lip and he blushed, quickly gaining interest in his shoes. "Hey," I said. "It's okay to touch me. I won't break, I think," I said. He laughed and nodded.
We stopped at a park and I smiled widely. "How'd you know I love parks?" I asked happily. "You seem outdoors-y," he said quietly. I pulled him and we made our way to the swings.
"Let's play 20 Questions," Zack suggested. I nodded and started. "Where were you born?" "Towson, Baltimore. Where were you?" "Emery, Castle Dale."
It continued on like that until the sixth question. "What was the most memorable moment in your life?" I asked. "Probably getting signed to Hopeless. What was yours?" "As corny as it sounds, it was being assigned to my first band, which is these guys."
We ran off to the slides and just played and slid and ran, and I realized something; I was happy.

"I'm kinda hungry. You wanna get something to eat?" Zack asked. I nodded and we climbed down the jungle gym, heading to the nearest food cart. "Take your pick," he said.
I pondered with my choice until deciding on a Hot Dog. We walked to the cart, hand in hand. "Two hot dogs please," I asked. "And no ketchup on one of them," I added quickly. I dug out my wallet, but Zack beat me to it.
"It's bad manners for a girl to pay on a first date," he said shyly. "Good, because I was 3 dollars short," I said cheekily. He smiled and we started eating.
"You know, you never finished your 20 questions," I said. "Meh. Do you climb trees?" he asked. I nodded, wondering where this was going. He grabbed my hand and we started walking/running to a secluded area of the park.
