I do not own the hunger games all rights to Susan Collins

I sit sipping away at my hot chocolate. Peeta left early for bakery this morning so I guess I will just have to wait to he gets in before I going hunting. we had run out of post it notes yesterday and even through the rebellion and the games are other we still have every horror capitol had to throw at us permintly branded in our brains. S o that's why we tell each other everything.

It had been years now. Three in fact since the rebellion. Since I saw my little sister prim blown to pieces. Three years since I looked into the heartless snakelike eyes of president Snow, and heard those words " Miss Everdeen. I thought we agreed not to lie toeach other..."

" YEEEOWW" Buttercup screeched from outside. Snapping me back to reality.

I opened the door to see Prims scruffy old tomcat Buttercup. " Come in you useless thing." I almost begged. He had just saved me from a traumatising flashback or emotional meltdown. That's what two hunger games and a war doe's to you. Me and Buttercup have a new bond now. When Prim died he knew excacly what I was going through.

Again I retreated to the couch. Staring blankly at Caesar Flikermans new show. Then the games reruns came on.

I froze.

Where's the controller? I am starting to panic. My fingers grasped the controller tightly and I turned the tv off. Few. Before I realize it I'm on the floor, my hands cupping my face and hunching my knees up.

"Katniss?" Peeta called. "Katniss are you all right!"

I was there. Rue smiling and collecting her roots and berries. Then she was a mutt. Her mouth frothing with sliver and blood. Her necklace now a collar with eleven on it. Coming for me.
