Begin a mermaid and going to school on land because there's none underwater is alot harder than it looks first you gotta pack your back pack and make sure everything's  water proof. Then you gotta bring clothes and shoes. The only good thing about this is its not a human school or else it would be really hard to hide since my eyes change color based on my emotions. My names Arika I have blonde wavy hair all the way down to my butt and most of the time bright blue eyes and very pale skin. Im a mermaid a royal mermaid to be exact. I'm a princess no i'm not anything like Ariel. Why I am I going to school if im a princess? Because I want to learn stuff besides the ocean things . Im a freshman fourteen years old. Im going to this school called River Valley high. Its a school for everyone to fairies to giants to gods. Why do monsters need to go to school? One to understand and use our powers for good. Two to "blend" in with humans. What are my powers? I can control water in any way I want, I can make guys fall in love with me (my mothers part siren) and I can talk and understand any animal in the sea. Does water make me change into a mermaid with one drop? No that's a myth my whole body has to be in water in order for me to change. Also I forgot to mention my eyes change color based on my mood pretty cool right? Yeah not really because I can't see it. Okay that's enough about me lets move along with the story. So I walked into school and there's alot more people than I expected. Where am I supposed to go? Okay whatever I'll just walk around till I find it. I finally found my first period. I sat down in a seat and waited for a teacher. "Your in my seat?" A unknown voice said. "Who says its your seat? I don't see your name on it? And you sure as hell don't own this school."I said to the unknown voice. A fist slammed my desk and a growl in my ear.
