The Alpha's Baby

Chapter 13

Hello guys!!!! How are you doing?

I hope you guys like this chapter, it's a bit different since this time it's in 3rd person POV. So hopefully you guys like it and tell me what you think about it at the end. Trying to get back into writing this book. 

Alex walked down to the basement where they had the two guys. He chose the basement to have more privacy, he hates when people know his personal business.

Walking into the basement and walking straight into the meeting room where they were, Alex glared at the two young men. They were both cuffed with actual silver handcuffs and were both separated, having one in each corner of the room with their backs facing him.

He walked slowly over to them not even looking at Xavi or his men and stood in between them not sure who to pick first. Until the one on the left side lifted his head towards Alex, he watched as the young man eyes widen as the Alpha started to walk towards him. He was already beat up and had dried up blood from his nose and bruises on his face.

"What's your name boy" Alex asked while walking closer and closer to him.

"Joseph" he answered hoarsely and quickly. This boy doesn't even seem older than 20 Alex thought.

"Okay good, so Joseph let's make this quick and easy for the both of us. I'll ask you some questions and you answer them as honest and quickly like you did when I asked for your name" he said in a deadly voice while sitting down in chair.

"Who sent you to attack me and the girl that was with me" he asked Joseph.

Joseph kept moving around in his seat feeling extremely uncomfortable having Alex so close to him knowing that he's ready to attack him at any moment.

"Don't say anything Joseph!" the other young man yelled and stood up quickly running towards Alex. Alex got up quickly and in that split second Xavi threw him the gun, which Alex caught and quickly shot the young man.

Alex sat back down and looked at Joseph. "You see Jospeh, I don't know if you know what type of bullets are in this gun. In reality these bullets aren't even strong enough to kill anyone but they are made of silver, which is what will actually kill you, if you aren't able to take it out in time" he moved back a little bit to look at the man on floor.

 "Just look at your partner how he's slowly dying, do you want to die like that Joseph?"

Joseph kept hearing his partner screaming in pain and gasping for air, as the silver was spreading all over his body. "No sir I don't want to die like that" he responded to Alex.

"Great!! Then just tell me who sent you then" Alex smiled to Joseph.

"I really don't know exactly who sent us" Joseph replied. Alex got up quickly and walked towards the table where Xavi and his men were and got the silver knife.

Without hesitation Alex's stabs Joseph right on his thigh. He cried out in pain from the silver in the knife. "Come on now Joseph you must have a name, you just don't sign up for things like this and not know who sent you. You were sent to kill someone and yet you don't know the persons name!" Alex growled at him.

"I wasn't sent to kill her sir, I was sent to take her. The only reason we shot the windows was so we could get in but we never thought it was bullet proof" he screamed from the pain.

Take her? Alex thought. Someone wanted her but who and why? Who wanted her so badly?

"I don't care if you wanted to kill her or take her. She still got hurt in the process of it and I'm sure the person that wants her wants also wants to hurt her." He whispered coldly to him and closer to his face.

"We didn't mean to hurt her at all, it was suppose to be a simple mission. We meant no harm since she's pregnant" Joseph quickly stated but it completely surprised Alex. 

"How did you know she's pregnant?!" Alex questioned him.

Without getting a response from Joseph, Alex quickly picked up the gun again and pointed it straight to Joseph's head. 

" WILL" Joseph screamed out quickly. 

"Will is the guy you killed, he's the only person that has actually met her in person. I've never seen her in person, I just take orders since she pays us so well" 

Alex tensed up "She?"

"Yeah it's a girl, well I'm guessing she's a girl. Will calls her Lilly and I don't know many guys that are called Lilly. I've never seen a picture or no anything of her. I just take orders and get paid well" he whispered now since he was slowly loosing any energy he had left.

"You don't know anything else then Joseph?" Alex questioned him. Joseph at that moment looked up at Alex's eyes and saw the look of disgust he had.

"You're still going to kill me, aren't you?" he accused Alex.

"I didn't say I wasn't going to kill you, I just said I wasn't going to kill you the way I killed Will" Alex got up from the chair once again "You'll have an easy death, you won't even feel a thing" and just shot Joseph right on the head before he could even respond.

Alex turned to his man and Xavi and gave them all stern looks "That will be the last time anyone gets that close to Lexi or my pup. When I give you an order you follow it, if something like this happens again you would be punished. Does everyone understand" he yelled at his men.

"Yes Alpha" they all replied loud and clear. 

"Clean this mess up and I'll talk to you all later about what will do next"

Alex walked out of the room and headed back to where he left Lexi. Carefully and quietly opening the door to the room not wanting to wake her up, he glanced at Lexi making sure she was asleep and walked straight to his  bathroom to take a quick shower.

After his hot shower he walked over to the empty side of the bed and laid down. Taking a deep breath out and thinking over everything that just happened in the last 24 hours. He started to feel his adrenaline going down and exhaustion slowly taking over his body. He turned on his side and carefully pulled Lexi closer to his body, to make sure she'll be fine and safe while he's sleeping.

Ever since ending things with Macy he hasn't been the same just like any other person that gets their heart broken. That was his biggest dilemma a few week back trying to get over his ex, he put his arm around Lexi's waist and places his hand on her tummy but now his biggest issue is keeping his baby safe. He snuggled up a bit closer to Lexi and finally closed his eyes hoping that the next day won't be as difficult. 

So that's the end of this chapter, what did you think about it being in the 3rd POV? It's something different and I'm not sure if I like it or not, what do you think about it? 

Who do you think is Lilly? Do you guys think "Lilly" is a character I already talked about or someone you'll hear about later on?????
