Bella didn't know how she got through the week, but she did.

She avoided Malfoy as much as possible, thankfully not having classes with him for a whole day, until Tuesday.

But still laughter followed her or mocking comments. She mostly stayed in the girls dorm, not even able to face the people in the common room yet, except when she had to leave for classes.

Bella headed to Potions, that blasted book under her arm, and when she walked in, she avoided looking at the Slytherin side, where Malfoy was sitting, his feet stretched out on a second chair, grouped around by his usual gang.

When he saw her, he called out, laughing, "Hey Evans, If you want you can sit by us" The Slytherins followed with their usual bursts of laughter, and Bella glanced at them, scowling "You'd have to poison me again, Malfoy, for me to ever even sit by you." The Slytherins all "Oooh'd" and Malfoy exchanged a grin with another Slytherin.

And with that, she stalked to an empty chair, sliding next to Hermione Granger, who smiled at her.

Bella ignored her, and pretended to watch the board.

Snape swept in the room, and the class immediately went quiet, the usual response to Snape.

Snape said, although not in a cold voice he would have used with any other students "Feet off the chair, Mr. Malfoy." Malfoy reluctantly put his feet down, which he probably wouldn't have done so quickly for any other teacher.

The hour passed by slowly, Bella made sure not to look at the Snape's desk, or even anything above her own potion she was brewing.

When class finally ended, she looked up. Okay, leave now, or dawdle to avoid the Slytherins.

Bella finally ended up racing out, her cheeks flushed, and she headed down the hall, until she ran into a girl.

The girl had long blonde hair, and was wearing the most Peculiar eyeglasses. In fact, in general, she looked peculiar.

"Sorry" Bella muttered, looking behind her.

The girl shook her head, "No, I'm sorry. I'm afraid I was reading and not watching where I was going"

She lifted up a small magazine, with the headline "The Quibbler"

Bella nodded absently, and stepped around her, but stopped as the girl said in the same lilting voice. "Your the girl that had the potion, on Sunday" Bella flinched, saying dejectedly "Is that all what people know me by?"

The girl started walking with her, much to Bella's dismay, and she nodded "Oh yes. You know, I expect the school knows by now. "

Bella frowned. Alright, this girl was really pushing her limits.

The girl faced her, "You don't seem to have many friends around here."

Bella raised her eyebrows, saying sarcastically, "Was it that obvious?"

The girl continued to watch her, and she said something about Hinkypinks (Whatever those were. The girl was mental.) and she disappeared.

Bella shook her head, and headed back down the corridor.

Suddenly, a girl appeared by her side. Lavender Brown. Bellar rolled her eyes as Parvati Patil appeared on her other side.

Lavender grinned knowingly at her. Bella gritted her teeth, "What do you two want?"

Parvati smiled, "Bella, why do you always assume we want something, maybe we just wanted to talk."

Bella nodded slowly, and kept walking, but stopped suddenly when Lavender asked innocently, twirling a lock of hair around her finger "Is it true You and Draco Malfoy shagged each other on Snape's desk?"

Bella stumbled, her mouth going dry "Who told you that?"

Lavender said "We heard it-"

"He had said you did-" Continued Parvati

"he was talking to his friends-"

"-bragging more like-"

"And we wanted to know if it was true." finished Lavender.

Bella's eyes flashed. "It's not true. "

Lavender looked at her closely. "Even you said, in the courtyard, that you two had snogged."

Bella gritted her teeth, snapping "We didn't get past that, thank Merlin."

Lavender and Parvati exchanged a glance, and Bella ignored them, heading down the corridor, fuming.

That git. The school was going to think she was a whore or something. Bella saw Crabbe standing in a queue for class, and she walked straight over to him, and grabbed his robes pulling him out, and looking stupidly incredulous, Crabbe followed her.

She glared at him, saying breathless "listen, you. I want you to tell Draco Malfoy that he needs to shut his big fat mouth about me. You tell him that he's not going to get laid of he keeps spreading rumors."

Crabbe stared at her, and she finished "And if he ever, ever repeats what happened in the Potions classroom to anyone again, I will curse him into oblivion"

She said furiously "You got that?" Crabbe gave her a blank look, but nodded. Bella was tempted to hit him, but she refrained and she walked off, feeling about ten times taller.

Bella headed down the corridor once more, sighing.

A nice walk along the lake sounds good about now. Or the library. somewhere quiet.

Bella exhaled, watching students walk by. Soon enough, they would forget about her.

Someone else would mess up, and she wouldn't be the school mockery anymore. Well, maybe for some, but If she stayed low, she just may be forgotten once more.

Which, at the moment, sounded perfect.
