// AUTHOR'S NOTE:

some of you might have wondered why mingyu acts the way he does,
so I decided to write this chapter from mingyu's point of view,
i hope you enjoy!

Mingyu's point of view

It feels weird. Waking up next to Wonwoo and remembering everything that happened the day before. Hearing enthusiastic talking from the kitchen while watching Wonwoo sleep peacefully.

It feels great. Watching Wonwoo's so cute and peaceful face and counting his reassuring, calm breaths. Thinking about his lips, how they felt and how they tasted like. Wondering how they would taste like right now.

It feels wrong. Watching another boy like this, feeling all this towards another boy. Hearing Nari and mother talk in the kitchen, feeling this awful guilt boiling inside and burning everything.

But everything is forgotten when Wonwoo finally opens his eyes and yawns cutely, smiling slightly before hiding his face shyly under the covers.

______

When the boys finally get up from the bed, Mingyu's mother and Nari have left already. Mingyu's mother doesn't even know that Wonwoo spent the night over at their house nor does she know that the boys aren't going to school. But it's okay. They'll just have to come up with something as an explanation for their skipping of classes. But right now, Mingyu doesn't want to think about it.

The boys go to the kitchen to get something to eat, but instead of eating breakfast in the kitchen (like normal people), they end up eating it in the bed.

Sitting there in Mingyu's bed and shoving food to their mouths, the boys enjoy the simple and comfortable silent surrounding them. It isn't awkward at all, and that's what makes Mingyu really happy. Wonwoo is the type of friend that you can be truly comfortable with, in almost every possible situation.

Wonwoo's heartwarming, calm personality is exactly what Mingyu likes. In fact, he admires it how the aura around Wonwoo is so peaceful and vividly interesting at the same time.

Mingyu becomes aware of himself staring at Wonwoo who's eating his cereals when Wonwoo snaps a finger in front of Mingyu's face, chuckling.

"What are you thinking about with such concentration?" Wonwoo asks, mouth full of food. He looks too cute with his hair messy and eyes still a bit sleepy, shoving spoonfuls of cereals to his mouth.

"Nothing much. I was just wondering what we'll do today since we're not going to school, you know," Mingyu lies, and takes a bite of his bread quickly before he says something even more stupid.

Wonwoo puts his plate aside and lays down on the bed. He starts to think about different ways to spend the day, staring at the ceiling.

Mingyu takes this opportunity to just observe and appreciate Wonwoo shamelessly.

Mingyu has never before felt any interest towards guys. Many people have asked him how he still has never had a single girlfriend when there are so many girls drooling over him, and he has always shrugged it off by thinking that maybe he just hasn't met the right girl yet.

Little did he know that he hadn't met the right guy.

Sure, he has met many gorgeous girls and all, but he never really gets interested of them. Mingyu's dad has this habit of jokingly teasing Mingyu that he'll arrange some dates for Mingyu if he doesn't step up and get himself a girlfriend.

The thought of Mingyu's dad makes him anxious again.

His dad is a busy business man, owns a company, travels all around the world, makes a lot of money and brings chocolate and flowers to mom when he finally comes back home on holidays. He's kind and friendly, warm and graceful.

But he's also really conservative. The whole family of Mingyu's has always been a bit conservative and that's what scares Mingyu. He's scared that his parents won't understand him and that they wouldn't accept him.

Losing a family - or even one family member -  would be all too much for Mingyu. And Mingyu feels just so scared.
