"My name is Alexei, by the way." He spoke to break the silence between them as they were walking on the street.

"I'm Seraphine but you can call me Sera if it's too long for you to say."

"I will call you Seraphine but you should call me Alexei. No less." He said. "And put your necklace inside your clothes. It's too flashy. I don't want to help you if it got stolen."

Sera almost forgot with the necklace that she got from her father. Quickly, she inserted it into her dress.

"Thank you for the warning."

"Tighten your cloak. The wind is strong tonight. Master will punish me if you catch a cold."

"You are so kind, Alexei. Thank you," She said while following Alexei's long footstep.

Alexei blushed. He simply just didn't want Master Vysenna to punish him. "Shut up! Just walk faster."

"You know, you look like my friend. He is four years older than me but he was so kind and made me wish that he is my brother."

Alexei seemed not to hear it. His eyes focused to a big tent that built in the middle of the park. The area outside the tent was filled with people who were queuing up to watch the show.

"We will get in from the back door, but first, we need to walk around the park. I don't want anybody to look you."

Sera tilted her head, confused with Alexei's complicated idea. "I can use this hood to cover my face. We can still go inside through the front gate." She said which made the boy was blushing, ashamed for not being able to think a simple idea like that.

"Ah... you are right. Let's go then."

"What are you doing here? Aren't you supposed to watch Seraphine?"

Vysenna scowled, giving her apprentice an angry looking eye. She was already having a headache as the result of facing the troubles here. She didn't need any trouble again. This hectic show was enough to make her head blew up.

"The girl asked me if she could go to find her mother. I thought it would be better to bring her to you than to let her slipped away. You can ask her by yourself if you don't believe me." Alexei pointed her finger to his back without turning around.

"Is she invisible? Because I cannot see her."

"The heck?! She was just there a minute ago," Alexei freaked up.

Without waiting for his Master's order, Alexei ran as fast as he could. His eyes were scanning his surrounding, trying to find a little girl who was wearing a black robe but he couldn't see her in this crowded backstage.

This tent sure will be my grave if I don't find her soon. Ugh... where in the hell is she going anyway?

Alexei continued to run but he stopped when he saw a glimpse of brown hair. He saw a little girl was standing in the doorway that connected the rear stage to the front stage.

"Hey! Don't just going around by yourself." He shouted.

Sera was amazed at the dance of the dancers when suddenly something was touching her shoulder. She jumped in surprised but immediately calmed down after she knew it was only Alexei.

"Uh oh...sorry. I just interested to..."

"Save your apology later. Now come with me. We must meet Master Vysenna before she turns this tent into my grave."
