I breathed heavily sitting up looking around as Mowgli walked inside "You alright Joanne?" He asked sitting next to me "I need to tell you something" he looked at me a bit worried and scared "What's wrong?".
"The day before you found me....it was a lie my friends weren't walking with me, I was at my uncles village and I met this guy 2 months ago his name is Ryan. He taught me archery--"
Back flash:
"Keep your elbow up" Ryan said helping my body form while I was holding my bow and arrow. I let the arrow flow to the target, as soon as it hit the middle of the target I grinned "See it's not that hard" I said smirking at him "Really? Last time I checked it took you 6 tries to make it" he laughed a bit and grabbed my chin softly leaning in but before we could kiss we heard a woman scream and saw the whole village on fire. "Stay here, I'll check it out" he ran to the village and I walked a tad closer to see if everyone was alright but I saw Ryan killing our people with the others. He had pointed to me and sent 3 men to me and I shot 2 but I ran out of arrows because I shot one at the target so I dropped it and ran into the woods and saw Baloo so I ran the other way and fell hitting my head
"Is he still after you?" Mowgli asked and I shook my head "He ran away from Baloo and they probably think I'm dead by now. Mowgli maybe you should warn everyone just in case he comes and tries to burn the jungle" he nodded and pulled my hair back "I have a new flower for you. I made it into that thing ladies wear on their arms" he gave me the flower it was the same type of flower just a new one. He put it on my arm and I grinned "It's a beautiful bracelet, thank you" he kissed my head and stood up "I'll tell the others about the red flower" he said walking out.
When he left Grey walked inside and helped me up "You need to stretch" I held onto him and limbed outside "Is that you and Mowgli's mother?" He nodded and told me about the wolf code. "I'll be honest Grey, I would have loved to seen you as a cub. You were most likely the cutest thing in the world" he chuckled and helped me back to the tent
