The girl, she was looking sad, as she swings, she looks torn apart by something she couldn't unsee. The look of terror in her eyes, but also seeming a little sleep deprived. Her names Lauran Hale, every one calls her lee, well her one and only friend she feels she has. Me, Shelby, Shelby Grayson. I want to say something to her, but I don't know what. I'm normally the one who makes her happy when we hang out. Why is today so different? Is it the whether? I need to know what happened.
I finally decided to say something after the fifteen minutes of silence.
"What did you do yesterday?" Just the normal small talk. "You went to your grand-." Before I could even finish my sentence, she fell apart, crying continuously. I had no clue what to do because she normally doesn't do this, she never acts like this. So I continue to ask her what was the matter.
She settled down a bit, and decided to tell me what was wrong.
"The children."
I was confused by this, what did she mean?
"Children? What children?"
"The black eyed children."
