The Mafia And Me

Chapter Five

 It's been 2 months since I moved into the mansion. Everybody has been very nice and accommodating. I've fallen into a daily routine, wake up, shower, breakfast, work out, go for a swim, read a little, help the maid make dinner, bath and then bed. Honestly I'm so fucking bored.

Today though Raoul has assured me that we get to go shopping!! I finally get to get out of this damn house. I mean the house is great and everything but I'm a very outdoors person. I feel suffocated in this house all day every day. Today I decide to wear a strapless sundress, blue with grey and white stripes, and some white heels. After getting ready I head downstairs to find Raoul, my personal bodyguard and now good friend. 

"Hey ma, where are you going looking all pretty today? Hot date?" Rob asks as I skip into the kitchen.

"Nope!" I say popping the p. "Raoul is taking me shopping today!" I reply while clapping.

"Ohh. Does the boss know? You better be careful ma. I don't wanna see you hurt." he says, looking at me with a look of worry in his eyes. 

"I'm not sure. Raoul said he set it up for me. Should I go find Angel to make sure he knows what the plan is?" I ask tilting my head to the side. 

"I would. If he isn't aware of these things he tends to go ballistic when he can't find you. I think he likes you a little too much." Rob replies while laughing.

"Okay, I'll go see him then and make sure everything is okay." I reply as I walk towards Angelos study. 

*Knock Knock*

"Come in." I finally hear through the thick wooden door.

"Hey Angel, I was just stopping by to make sure you were aware that I was going out today? Raoul said he set it up to go shopping today." I tell him while sitting in his chair.

"Hmmm. I'm sure it'll be fine. I wasn't aware of this plan beforehand though. Just stay safe, if anything goes awry call me immediately. And remember to always trust your instincts. I'll see you later tesoro (Darling)." He replies, only looking up towards the end of his sentence. 

"I will. Thank you, Angel." I say, yes, I call him Angel now. I have no idea why I started doing that. It just seemed fitting for some reason. Right after I stand, he grabs my wrist. 

"Here, take this and buy whatever you like." he says handing me a black bank card. he's giving me his card? He wants me to use his money to buy myself stuff? What the hell?

"No no no. I have a little money Angel I don't need your card." I say trying to hand it back it him.

"Please take it Scar. I want you to take it and buy whatever you see that you like." He insists, retracting his hand so I can't give the card back. 

"Well okay. I'll take it but I'm not promising that I will use it." I say as I head to the door. Right before I leave, I throw him a wink, and the expression on his face was priceless. He looked confused and awed at the same time. 

So, I head back out towards the foyer to see Raoul waiting patiently for me by the front door. I smile at him as we head outside. Me being me I only need the one bodyguard. It took some convincing on my part for Angelo to lighten up, and he only did after seeing me in the gym and the shooting arena he has underground his house. I head towards the Audi R8 Spyder and before Raoul gets to the driver's seat I run around the car first. 

"Keys please!" I say while holding out my hand.

"Oh hell no. I don't trust your driving princess. I'm driving, step away from the car!" he smiles at me. I begin to pout. 

"I'm not falling for that pout again princess. It worked on movie night, but this is totally different." he says. 

"Well, it's not technically even your car Boo, so give me the keys." I say with a smile on my face. And yes, I call my personal bodyguard boo. He's like a cuddly big brother.
