Jordan's P.O.V

I was screaming before I could stop myself but when I screamed her name everything stopped. the man stood up and stared at me in disbelief. It was getting a bit uncomfortable with the man staring at me like I was a unicorn. he snapped his head away when we heard another mans voice mumbling something through the door. I looked over at the door like the man did.

"J-Jordan?" I heard my name being questioned as a figure stood in the door in disbelief. i had no idea what to do at that moment.

I was star struck but I managed to get the words out of my mouth in disbelief,"Maggie?" before I could pull myself together I was in the tight embrace of my best friend. the strong girl from my childhood, the only person who understood me.

I felt a warm liquid fall on my shoulders as she yelled at the man who was just moments ago putting a knife into my wounded leg. "how the hell could you do this to her, she didn't do nothin'!" Maggie was stood up and screaming at him. I bet she was thinking about my past and when I told her about my abusive dad and how she promised me i would never be hurt by another man again.

"Maggie, calm down. we didn't know you knew each other." a man in a sheriffs uniform said as calm as can be.

LATER THAT NIGHT

I was finally out of that barn. I probably looked like hell. I could tell my long dark hair had grown so muck tho the point that you could tell it was dyed. the dark hair went down to shoulders so I figured I should cut it and finally take out my contacts. Maggie left me upstairs to get clanged and make myself look better to introduce to the group. I walked into the bath room to shower but before I could get in I caught a glimpse of myself in the mirror,

I had long hair that reached to my lower back, the bottom halve of it was bright blond with walker blood in it to give it a red tint. the upper half of my hair was jet black with waves that barely showed through the the grease and blood. I saw my deep blueish green eyes that remind me of a body of water, that I hadn't seen in almost 10 years. my army pants and black tank top where both covered in both walkers and my blood. my once tan skin was completely covered in blood and dirt you would hardly recognize me.

I pulled out a pair of scissors from the cabinet to cut off the long blond ends of hair. after it was gone I picked up the hair and put it in the trash bin. I stripped down from my bloody cloths and turned on the water to finally clean all of the dirt and grime off of me. the water felt soothing to my skin and in what seemed like years I was finally clean. I pulled back the curtains and dried off with the fluffy pink towel that was left for me. after I was completely dried off I put on my spare set of clothes. I left the bath room to find my best friend Maggie sitting on the bed crying,
