A Step Into Space

Day 5

After I washed the dishes I started to dry them. I carefully dried them, thinking wishfully that I could get back to Earth. I mean I could make a space ship, after all I was a scientist for NASA and I helped make the majority of the space ships. The one I flew here was the one they made when I got seriously sick. It was the only one that I could find, beside if I haven't hurried, I never would have got here. I decided that after I finish the dishes, I should go talk to Scarlet in the living room and cautiously approach the topic of "building a ship".

I put away the last bowl and walked into the living room only to see that Scarlet was gone. There was just a note on the table. In cursive writing it said,

You were taking too long. I left and went to the gardens. Just walked down the hall off the kitchen and take your third right. Then you'll find me. I'll be gardening. Happy dish washing:)

I wanted to follow the instructions, but instead I decided to explore. I went down the hall that my bedroom was
located on. There was just my room, Scarlet's room and the bathroom. I went back into the living room and went to the door to the outside. I looked through the hand, only seeing lava. I walked back into the living room and then headed to the kitchen. I walked through the kitchen, just noticing the small dining room. Figuring that she doesn't use it much, considering from what she told me, she's here alone. I turned down the hall that was noted in note from Scarlet.

I went into the first room and saw some animals. I walked into the next room and was in heaven. It was a huge workshop. Like everything I need to build a rocket ship huge. I poked around, interested. After looking around for at least half an hour and drawing some plans for rocket ships, I started to leave. I went back down the hall. Peeking into the sewing room, the fishing room and the drawing room. I finaly found the garden at the end of the hall and walked into the room.

It was a huge room, filled with plants. Not seeing Scarlet right away, I decided to look around first. She had a whole section devoted to cacti. There was all different sizes, each one sharper looking than the next. I then moved into the hanging flower baskets section. There was so many kinds each prettier than the next. I noted this to myself for the future.

Next I saw all the food quickly but realized that Scarlet wasn't in here. I frantically searched the rooms, looking for Scarlet. The last room that I hadn't searched was the workshop. I cautiously pushed open the door and right away noticing a large bulk in the corner of the room. Even though I was curious, I knew I had to find Scarlet. Like what if she pricked herself to death, then assumed that I was in the workshop.

I heard a quiet giggle and sourced it out. I saw a curtain in the back of the shop and just before I was going to rip it open I heard her voice.

"Oh Liam I'm so lucky to have you. I you haven't came with the first shipment I would have probably died by now. I can't kill an animal." I was filled with disbelief. I then heard I deep voice say.

"It no prob Scar. Besides everyone on Earth was mean to me anyways. It's nice to have a friend." Scarlet replied.

"No prob." Being fed up with this I ripped open the curtain to see Scarlet and "Liam" hugging. They broke apart as their eyes filled with horror when they saw me.
