In a cage live four parakeets name Sky, Luca, Chirp, and Tink. They are owned by Aaron, who is so fond of colorful birds like parakeets. The cage has climbing area, chew toys and perches too. It also has coop cups for food and water. The cage has a bird house for them to lay eggs.
The four parakeets are happy and they enjoy playing around in their cage. The parakeets have difderent behaviors too. Chirp is the noisiest and a bully. He keeps picking at his friends and dosen't want anyone to enter the breeding area. Luca is the opposite, he is bashful yet friendly.
Months past, the three parakeets are becoming distant towards Chirp. He deliberately keeps pushing anyone who comes near him or his favorate toy, mirror. Then Luca, Sky, and Tink decided to leave the cage. They planned their escape and how to protect each other from Chirp's obnoxious behavior. So they started observing Aarons routine.
" Let's do it on the cleaning day", croed Luca.
"Aaron will be opening the cage door." Whispered Sky
"Yes, lets leave Chirp alone. I don't like him anymore, he keeps on pulling my tail and feathers." Replied Tink.
But Sky was anxious about the plan and felt sad for Chirp who will be left alone. Deapite Chirp's obnoxious actions, she cared for him.
Aaron came home from sxhool and jovially greeted his parakeets.
"It's cleaning day!" Whispered Tink, hoping that Chirp wouldn't hear.
"Let's hope our plan works." Said Luca.
"Now or never, Sky. Are you joining us?" Ask Luca zealously.
"I am sorry but I'm staying. Chirp is a bully and he needs a friend." replied Sky.
The three parakeets bid goodbye.
Aaron cautiosly opened the cage door so that his parakeets would not fly out the cage. But Luca and Tink saw it as an opportunity and they hastily flew out the cage.
Aaron was surprised and felt sad but he couldn't do anything they already flew away. Chirp was also stunned and confuse of what just happened. He asked Sky why Luca and Tink left. Sky, frankly confronted him and explained everything. Chirp felt so sad and sprry. He realized how lousy he was.
"Why didn't you not flu with them? I treated you baldly too. I didn't remember doinf good to you." asked Chirp with a sad voice.
"I stayed because i know how it feels to be alone. I was once alone for a long time in a huge cage when my owner left for college. And I believe that we all need a friend." Answered Sky with a smile.
Chirp and Sky became good friends and shared the cage blissfully.
