After being attacked....

Xephos' point of view-

"V-very g-good. Uh... N-next monster." I said into the speaker. " what a stupid name. Kit. Who came up with that rubbish." Prof_brightmeer says beside me." I let her name her self. It's the least I could do. I mean , we did ruin her life. " I said to him as I face him.

" well, stupid name or not, she is strong, Her agility and health is high, despite her low stamina and inability to regain health." He said as he looked over his notes." Wait... She isn't regaining health? No, she has to be. That's impossible." I said in surprise.

"She isn't regaining health. Must be the ocelot DNA. Mobs don't regaining health like us. I assume she regains health the same way an ocelot does. But she isn't regaining health. My science screen in front of my eye displays her stats. Her hungers up, but her health is down." He said as he wrote down on a clip board.

"Do these tests have to be so dangerous? What if she dies." I asked him." Ahhhh!" I look up to see kit being bitten and screaming." Kit!" I grab my diamond sword and ran towards the zombie, slicing its skull open. I look over to kit lying on the ground.

"Oh god, please tell me she's alive." " don't worry, she's on half a heart." Prof_brightmeer said as he looked over her unconscious body. " I'll take her to the infirmary. Get rid of the zombie would you?" I ask as I pick her up in my arms and carry her down the hallway into the infirmary.

Kits point of view-

I wake up to in what looks like a hospital room with Xephos asleep at the end of my bed. I look down to see my left hand bandaged up. Prof_brightmeer walks in and looks at Xephos angrily. " wake up you lazy git!" He yells into Xephos' ear. " wa? I'm awake , I'm awake." Xephos says as he woke up. Xephos looks at me sleepily, but his facial expression changes to happy." Thank notch your alive. I was worried that you wouldn't survive." He said as he stood up.

"What happened to me? The last thing I remember before passing out was being bitten by a zombie." I said as I rub my eye with my non bandaged hand. " when the zombie bit you, it bit a nerve, causing you to pass out. Xephos dealt with the zombie afterwards though. Good thing too, if it had done any more damage you would be dead." Prof_brightmeer said from the other side of the room. I look over towards Xephos." Yeah, you were out for quite a while. We had enough time to perform surgery on you." Xephos said as he stretched and yawned.

"Surgery?! What kind of sergery?!" I started freaking out." Don't worry," Xephos started as he unwrapped my bandaged hand. " it wasn't a serious surgery.Just something that I thought you would like. Sort of a welcoming gift." He unwrapped my hand to reveal a compass lodged into my palm with a clock on the other side of my hand.

"It's so you don't loose track of the time or get lost." Xephos said." I'm still not sure why you did that. It's completely useless to her." Prof_brightmeer yelled out from the other side of the room." There aren't any windows looking outside so she needs the clock. And it's easy to get lost here." Xephos said back at him.

"But it's weird looking. Couldn't you have put it in a place where no one would see ?" Prof_brightmeer complained. " that's why I got her these." Xephos held out a pair of fingerless leather gloves." These are for you." He said as he handed me the gloves. I slipped them onto my hands. They fit perfectly over my clock and compass. I clutched my hand into a fist, but it felt stiff.

"I made the clock and compass flexible, so you can still use your hand as a hand. It will feel a bit stiff for the first few weeks." Xephos said as he started to walk towards the door. " your physical tests will be suspended for the time being. In the mean time, you will learn about the world. The dangers, the valuable things, science, magic, red stone, all those things. Be at the testing room by 8 tomorrow." Xephos said before he left. I look down at my new gloves for a few minutes until I got hungry. I decide to go and get some food from Charlie and go to bed.
