I am woken up by my alarm, I get up and hit the showers, throw on my sweatpants and black vest. I do some last minute packingand grab my suitcase. As I go down the stairs everything is so quitethat at first I thought I lived alone. Since mum never gets early ona Saturday I decide to do breakfast myself. I open the fridge andtake out the bread, butter, jam and orange juice. I really wanted acroissant but I guess dad finished them. I get up from my chair andtext Paul: Hey where are you I'm ready to go.
He suddenly replies: Hey dummy look out your windowI'm already outside.
I do what he says and see his car in my driveway. I grabmy suitcase and head for the door.
"He came this early huh?"Vanessa asks, whilestartling me.
"Um ya, I guess he wants to leave early." I sayopening the door.
"Oh okay, well um be safe okay and call me when youget the chance." She glances at Paul's car. "Nice car."
"See you and love you." I hug my morning breathsister.
As I walk towards Paul, now out of the car with the carboot door open. I still can't believe that after all this time we arefinally together.
"Morning beautiful, love those sweatpants." Hekisses my forehead.
"Thanks," I walk towards the passenger door and openit, "so were ready to go."
"Yep, so lets hit the road." With those words hestarts the car and reverses out of the driveway. Then were off.
About ten minutes on the road I get bored and put on myheadphones, I end up listening to 'A Thousand Years' by ChristinaPerri. And I love this song so much so I end up singing along. Paullooks at me.
"Hey don't keep the music all to your self." Helaughs and takes away my headphones.
"Hey!" I shout.
"Um hello other people are in the car." He nudgesme.
"Oh sorry, do have any CD's."
"Of course, check in the glove compartment."
I do what I'm told and find like twenty differentalbums.
"Wow you have a lot of CD's you collet or something."
"No I just love music."
"So which one?" I ask while picking two.
"Um put on Craig David, I love him." I find it andput it in. Then 'Fill Me In' fills the car. Paul and I both singalong to each song.
"So there's this new club and I was wondering if youwould like to go."
I haven't been to a club since my sixteenth birthday andever since Paul and I broke up I was never really invited to parties. But now I have a chance to go with Paul alone.
"Sure loved to."
"Great, there's a hotel near it so we can sleepthere."
"Cool, but are you sure you have enough money toafford all of this plus gas." I look at him.
"Oh don't worry about that," he laughs, "I stole Troy's credit card."
"Paul!" I say shocked that he would do such a thing.
"What he steals my tank tops all the time." Helaughs.
I look out the window, I love living in the Hampton sthe weather can be a pain but I love the beaches and taking selfieswith my friends. Right now it's raining, typical weather. I lovelooking at the raindrops especially when they drop on a car window. Iput my face on the window and my face instantly becomes cold.
