Chapter 8

Kearstyn's POV

"Why don't we go to EAT?" I said

" That's perfect!" Janae squealed and pulled out of the driveway

"A restaurant to fit our needs." Liz said after she finally looked up from her phone. We were definitely from the generation of technology. Liz, Kaitlyn and I were all staring at our phones with earbuds in.

"We're here!" Janae's voice cut through my music and I pulled the earbuds out and threw them on the hair covered seat. I jumped out of the car and walked towards the entrance.We sat down and ordered pancakes. Except Liz. Liz ordered waffles.

 After calling Liz a traitor for about an hour, we left and decided to go to the park. Janae, Kaitlyn and I spent the whole day running around the playground while Liz yelled at us for being idiots. 

We went home at 11 at night and we all went to sleep. 

"She looks so peaceful." Liz whispered

" Why couldn't she be like that when she's awake?" Janae whispered back

" SO WHOS GONNA WAKE HER UP?" Kaitlyn shouted and Liz and Janae shushed her.

" I'm already awake guys..." I said as I sat up

"Good because someone called the house for you." Liz told me

"About what?"

"I don't know. "

"Did she leave a message?"

"Yeah, she said to call her back. She left an address."

"Thank you!" I said as I jumped out of bed. I grabbed my clothes and ran into the bathroom. I ran out the door with my key and my phone and I hailed a cab. 

I followed what the little piece of paper had said. I was on my way to get a car. 

And a surprise for everyone.
